shyguysteve
the fable series are always cool, but holy crap the latest versions just dont impress me.the first fable released for the xbox and pc had the most of the current 3 games.i mean that it had more spells and more to do outside the main story, i also dig the time frame its in.on the pc there was a mod i think where you can get a gun that looked just awesome, magic though so way better then what i've seen in the other fable games.so does anybody know if there are any types of games that are alike to fable the lost chapters? Air King
It's really hard to find a game like Fable The Lost Chapters.But..anyway,you should try Risen 'cuz I think it's the only game that is more close to Fable.

Air King
any details about it?so i know what im getting into.Plot:Risen takes place in Faranga, a fictitious volcanic, mediterranean island with different sub-climates and vegetation zones. The island is inhabited by humans, as well as many fantasy creatures. In the intro cinematic the player is on a ship when a giant Titan attacks and you get ashore of an mysterious island, and you see that only you and a girl named Sara(also on that ship) have survived.Gameplay:The game features a combat system with parries, blocks, and sidesteps. Using this system the player can utilize a wide array of weapons like swords, bows, or fighting staffs. Alternatively, the player can choose to play as a mage, combination of mage and fighter, or a pure fighter with limited access to magic through single-use scrolls. Many skills are not available directly at the start of the game and have to be unlocked by expending "learning points" in the chosen skill. In addition to direct gameplay changes, unlocking skills has other minor aesthetic effects such as the player character using a different stance during combat. The game also has a system for professions and abilities, such as smithing and lock picking which are leveled up in the same way as the weapon skills—by expending points to level up in the specific profession.Quests conversations are fully logged in a quest diary. Maps are available, along with 'quest maps' on which objectives are marked. Non-player characters are voiced in British English.Hope I helped you.... jwilkes99999
I gotta agree. Fable 2 was ok but I just couldn't get into Fable 3. I've played Fable 1 three or four times. I loved getting my skills really high early in the game and using the card flip game to get a lot of money as well. I might even play it again sometime soon.
