What do you feel is the most 'Lovely' anime?

Well we all know there are many different kinds of anime. From comedy to action, to horror and to drama and much more. But perhaps one kind of anime type goes by not so often, that being animes that just seem to be quite lovely.

And for me I can think of no better anime that gives off such a quality other than the 2 seasons of Spice and Wolf. At first I wasn't really under the impression that it was going to be anything so wonderful. In fact I downloaded and watched it under the initial pretense of sheer boredom. Though after the first episode all my prior impressions of it were to to shame. In fact quite to my amazement I found it to be something quite lovely and wonderful. Now it dawns on me after completing the 2 season in about two days, yes I was absolutely hooked, that not many other animes have such an element and feel of how lovely it was. From the story to the characters it was, again for the lack of a word to better express it, Lovely. If you've seen and completely the series I'm sure you'll understand where I'm coming from.

So now I wonder, has anyone else ever came to this conclusion about any other animes? Is it common place for animes to lack that 'spice' of lovely, that Spice and Wolf seemed emit. Why is it that most animes don't have that feeling to it once you complete it?

I guess there isn't anything more lovely, than a lovely story filled with lovely characters..
