Need help for Rome: Total War

Hello guys! I hope I'm in the right place.

Any one in here played Rome: Total War

You know when you access the game's shell like when you input the cheats for Counter Strike game then type you cheat codes away?

I can do that but I cannot enter the same cheat code twice unless I restarted the game.

For example:

If i press ~ then typed

add_money 5000

the game accepts it, however if I'm going to enter it again,

add_money 5000

message "Command not recognized" shall be displayed and it wont accept the same cheat code unless I quit and restart the game. If anyone has a suggestion, please let me know. Thank you
