I've been an anime fan for over 20 years now and at one time was collecting almost any series that was released in the US on dvd. That hobby got expensive and hard to keep up with once anime in the US got really popular and series were coming out left and right from all of the different studios. I was really active at animeondvd for a long time until they soldout to Mania (which I can't stand).I've now begun the process of collecting my series over again on bluray, as well as, catching some of the new stuff that is coming out. There was a couple of years there, after my son was born, that I didn't have much time or money and I sort of fell out of following what was up and coming and must have. So I do feel a bit like I have a gap to fill.I like all genres really and have everything from berserk to kaliedo star to love hina, GTO, and azumanga daioh.GTO is probably one of my favorites overall though, if I had to pick.Now I am just trying to add all of my titles to my media server slowly so that my two boys can grow up loving anime as much as I did.
