So when I tried to watch the anime, I'd expected a tour de force that'd make me stay awake for nights without end.What I got was pure, unadulterated boredom.I'm serious. Luffy's voice is the only okay thing about the anime. The art style that was so nice and fluid in the manga look simply childish in the anime. Usopp gets n my nerves. And Zorro's greeeeeeeeeeen hair gives me a headache. And me already knowing what's gonna happen doesn't help (note that this did not hinder my enjoyment in previous series like RK etc. where also I had read the manga beforehand, but the OP anime is just that mediocre).So, question: does it get better after the first voyage?
