And I absolutely love how random it is... while still keeping to a story of some sort... Anyway, are there any others like it?oh and I prefer dubs, Thank you! lilxmandi Posted August 16, 2011 Report Share Posted August 16, 2011 a few good anime i know of that are funny/random but keep a plot are:gurren lagannouran highschool host club (you probibly already saw this though)the familiar of zerolove hinaalice academy (gakuen alice in jap) (dub is on the fail side but the story is fun)kodocha (kodomo no omocha in jap) (dub has been discontinued so after episode 50ish if you keep watching it'll have to be subbed, but it's a very funny show that makes you sad to XD)maburahoDurarara (more plot then funnies but when it's funny it's funny XD)Bamboo bladebaka to test to shoukanjuuchobitsdemon king daimaodisgaea (i never finished this one so i dont actuly know if the plot even starts but i do know it's funny XD, seen episodes 1-3 about 5 times and still lol'd)fruits basketi could go on but i'll stop here cause i think this is alot more then a suggestion or 2 XDhope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Samurai Champloo is another action packed anime, but very random at times.FLCL is hilarious, but it will take a few tries to figure out the plot (it really does exist, you just gotta pick up on it) Avatar: The Last Airbender Is a long series, but if you haven't seen it you are in for a treat. Bola Posted August 22, 2011 Report Share Posted August 22, 2011 It doesn't have much of a plot to begin with, but a series you MIGHT enjoy is Astro Fighter Sunred. Each episode is roughly 15 minutes long and are more like shorts most of the time. It's basically about a retired superhero who bums off of his girlfriend while being harassed by the 'evil' organization that they end up moving near, and I use the word 'evil' lightly because these guys are probably the nicest people you will ever meet. Seriously, they even help out the hero when him and his girlfriend decide to move. The main gags are usually just how rude Sunred is and how nice the 'bad guys' are, and just the situations they end up getting into. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I might have to check it out. although the bad guys in VB are still bad, Mr. Venture is a bit of an evil genius that thinks he's the good guy...
