Dave55811
So, anyone ever check this game out? I decided to check this game out a couple or few days ago, per @Zemekis's suggestion, really to get me off of The First Descendant. I don't think my journey in the game has properly started, and it might be a while, because just as I finished up a side-quest, I discovered some "Memory Bubbles" and it looks like there's a lot in the ship. I don't even know if I can go back to this location later on, so I'm making sure I got everything. Anyway, Honkai: Star Rail is an interesting game, in the sense that it's a free-to-play turned-based RPG. Pretty much the only complaints I have with this game is that it's a live-service type of game, and most especially, it's by the ChiComs. Concerning the former issue, this game doesn't really prod you into spending IRL money for things....not that I will, which brings me to the latter issue of how this is a ChiCom game, although that itself is complicated. I don't like how China's taking over the videogame industry, but on the other hand, they're smart, and they know what gamers want, and they're not obligated by some Western neo-puritanical values, by force if necessary. In essence, China can do whatever they want. But, I fear I'm just going off from here. So, I guess my question remains....has anyone ever checked this game out? If so, how are you liking it? Me? I'm liking it, even though I've still not boarded the train.
