Beyblade Burst God Anime to Premiere in April

The official Twitter account for the Beyblade franchise announced on Friday that the Beyblade Burst television anime series is getting a new series titled Beyblade Burst God that will premiere in April. TV Tokyo's website for Beyblade Burst confirmed that the new anime will air on the channel.

 

 

Beyblade Burst premiered in Japan on April 4 and is ongoing. Katsuhito Akiyama (Inazuma Eleven, Bubblegum Crisis, El-Hazard: The Wanderers) is directing the anime at OLM or Oriental Light and Magic (Yōkai Watch, Pokémon) with character designs by Toshiaki Ōhashi (chief animation director of Danbōru Senki W, Danbōru Senki Wars). Hideki Sonoda (Pokémon franchise, Machine Robo: Revenge of Chronos, Sonic Soldier Borgman) handles the series scripts.

The anime began airing on Canada's Teletoon channel on September 10, and then premiered on Disney on December 19. Daisuki began streaming the series with English subtitles later in December.
