Dae314
Back when it first came out, I wasn't a fan. I liked the DS' Ouendan better. However, recently (like within the past 6 months) I felt the need to make my mouse accuracy, speed, and precision better so I could be a better player in BF3. I didn't like "grinding" with other online trainer stuff, so I went back to an old game I had tried years ago: Osu! ^^. Since then I've played semi-frequently, and gotten myself from beginner songs to doing stuff at hard (can't touch expert yet T_T). The game has drastically improved my aiming, but I'm starting to feel like its benefit is starting to degrade since I need to start training for BF3 situations, not just aiming in general. I'll probably keep playing it in the future although less frequently. It also introduces me to new good songs which is always a plus ^^. http://osu.ppy.sh/u/287711

Dae314
Oh I don't take the song out of the game files (sometimes those aren't too great). I just mean it's a way for me to be introduced to new songs. I have a gaming mouse already ^^. Over a couple years of use I honed the DPI setting down to exactly where I like it: 2400 xD. The mouse hits up to like 5400 dpi so I'm not even using half of it .

Pathos
This game has a fairly large collection of j music and anime related tracks for play. I used to play osu! going back a couple of years. I just bought a new tablet PC with a responsive touch screen so now may be a good idea for me to resume playing, if I can just pry myself away from Skyrim...
