Razar
I'm sorry, I know you guys probably get this one a lot.But firstly, I am just curious as to what is the difference between the two are? Anime is an asian series, isn't it? Or cartoons are made in America? If that's the case, I could've sworn that there was an American ninja show. I can't remember what it was called, but what would that be considered? Afro something I believe.Secondly, do you prefer American cartoons or Asian cartoons. Family Guy, Futurama, Naruto, or Bleach
Hawkester
Well there are a couple of differences between anime's and cartoons.Anime characters usually have distinct facial expressions with wide variations in physical characteristics (even though I'm having trouble telling two people apart in K). The physical features of characters are, on the whole, closer to reality than cartoons. On the other hand, cartoon characters usually have features that are not relative to the body and therefore further from reality than anime.Anime usually concentrate mostly on life issues or things tied closer to human emotion whilst cartoons are generally made to make people laugh and so is more comical. So Family Guy and Futurama are cartoons whilst Naruto and Bleach are classified as anime. Personally I prefer anime. Also anime doesn't just have to be from asian series, Americans can do it too just they are too busy making Mickey mouse, Family Guy, Ben 10 etc.Btw these are the two characters, I'm having trouble telling apart. It looks fine now but when they actually appear in the anime, it takes me a couple of moments to identify who's who.
