Disgaea, prinny throwing for fun and profit!

Ok I have been recently playing disgaea ds for the computer, emulators are harder to lose than the video games, and was curious who else here plays or played the disgaea series.

Also prinnies are fun to throw they blow up so well.

I play disgaea have done since hour of darkness came out on PS2, favorite level in any nippon ichi game te prinies challenging you to a game of baseball.

I played the hell out of this game for the ds, it was the ds version of hour of darkness I believe, some of those later, optional maps were hard as hell . I remember this being the first game where I felt under powered with a lvl 2000 character lol. Prinnies were all fun and games until you go to their world and they slaughter your ass.

i started it but got really annoyed with the huge amount of buyable characters

i also hated how the 'court' had to yay or nay decisions

character dialogue was great tho

cant get enough of laharal etna or even midboss xD

 

too bad i cant play as its not on wii,wii u,or 3ds

Yes I used to play that on my DS.

I remember it being quite a good game for long journeys in the car, I wasn't driving of course.

 

It was a little overwhelming with the amount of customization of the monsters on your team

and the levelling up of the weapons.

 

It was quite challenging at times but there were some levels that were excellent for grinding up new recruits to your roster

or to strengthen up the main characters.

 

It had an hilarious story line as well but overall the game was a bit of a time sink.
