Remember in chapter 533 of the Naruto manga?

They revealed a scene of Kurenai holding her and Asuma's child.

I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but I was looking up random Naruto information and found out that during a question and answer session held at Tokyo's Jump Fest '09, Masashi Kishimoto stated that he was thinking of making Kurenai and Asuma's child a girl.

Asuma's kid may really not have any influence on the story but if the story drag on like Dragonballz to Dragonballgt , then I guess the author might throw him/her a bone doesn't really matter if the kid is boy or girl .

But my second guess is that , this kid is important to Shikamaru if some how anyone decided to take the kid and distract Shikamaru , take away his focus or weaken his resolve , then I guess it be some to think about cause Shikamaru is a powerful tactician and taking him out would mean weakening of the leaf ( allied forces ), still doesn't matter if the kid is boy or girl .

and as cuteness , well I do admit he/she is cute , all babies are cute but they all are little STINK MACHINES:bad_smelly: and this is part I really don't like about them .

Truth is , everyone who posts in this forum has a different way of thinking , sometimes people may find a simple topic very interesting and sometimes people are not interested even in the important ones, that is how life is: IT IS VERY UNPREDICTABLE , I found this topic interesting that is why I posted , and I think there will be a whole lot of people who would find this post interesting.

Hmm...I didn't hear anything about the baby being a boy or a girl. I bet we will get to see him/her slightly older at the end of the series. Even if the series doesn't go for much longer, Kishi might give us a few chapters of just the leaf in the future. Kind of like a where are they now segment.
