pinkmattered
I started so many shows in my teens but Great Teacher Onizuka sticks out, so I think that was first anime I saw
Loyal Wolf
Dragon Ball Z Â Fantastic! Nothing else I can really say. Screaming in front of the screen when they fought and reenacting the fights with my toys. Awesome stuff! Â My mom thought it was silly, and that fights took way too long. Nag, nag, nag! ThePJzer
Fantastic Adventures of Unico on VHS. I was probably 5-6, my little sister and I loved it. Didn't even know it was anime at the time, cartoons were just cartoons.

Saf
I don't exactly recall. It was either Pokemon or Astro Boy. Â The first subbed anime I saw was the Mega Man Battle Network anime. It wasn't until Love Hina where I started watching subbed anime more.
deusxanime
Excluding the stuff dubbed and repackaged for US market (Transformers, Voltron, Ronin Warriors, etc), my first "real" anime that started my path to otaku was Neon Genesis Evangelion. Been a Gainax (and now Trigger too) fanboy every since. Man that was 20 years ago now...
