Galactus616
I'm an X-Men fan from way back with the All-New, All-Different X-Men being my fav (Cyclops, Banshee, Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Wolverine).

PhoenixPress
By the time I was into comic books, DC and Marvel were already so established that I avoided most of their big names. Fifty years of lore had gone into Spider-Man and Superman, and I always felt a little lost when those characters showed up. That's not to say that I don't love Wolverine and the X-Men and Batman, but that most of my meaningful exposure to those characters has been in the form of animation and video games. Because of that, I don't think it's really honest of me to include them in a discussion of my favorite comic book heroes. That said, there was a while when I was trying to stay on top of new characters that existed in those larger universes. I've always been a big fan of Spider-Girl, and started reading this at some point in their 30s. Runaways was great before its indefinite hiatus and Hopeless revived the characters in Avengers Arena (which is actually a really cool story, but what it did with the Young Avengers and Runaways characters is unforgivable). It's probably the Runaways... Karolina, Nico, and Molly always sneak into my daydreams about Ultimate Alliance and Marvel vs. Capcom. Them and Howard the Duck.
