i was hoping it another 100+ eps but 13 eps =(.. wish it would have more.. any idea if series ends after these 13 eps or they just anime that arc only?

No where near enough manga chapters for that. Don't forget most of the time since the first anime ended, the manga has been either on hiatus or only releasing 4 chapters a year. It was only fairly recently that it went back to being released monthly so we get like 12 chapters a year now.

Also there is the fact that the anime skipped an entire 6 chapter arc which would have filled in the two week time gap that took place between the first series and Hallow. So skipping that arc actually cut down on the amount of episodes worth of material that is even available to be adapted. 13 episodes though still makes this arc extremely rushed.

The way they've rushed through the material I expect Hallow will end with the Seed of Destruction arc. Which means they plowed through 40 chapters in only 13 episodes. This only leaves 18 chapters not animated at this point in time. That's not even enough for another 6 episodes at that pacing.

So I really don't understand why everyone keeps whining that they wished Hallow would have been longer. Only two possible ways to have made it longer. One is slow down the pacing which they should have done as these 40 chapters could have easily been a 2-cour story. Other than that, for more than say 24 episodes, would have required adding/creating filler, which would defeat the purpose of even bothering imo.

The pacing really should have been slower. 40 chapters in 13 episodes? Really??? And you leave us with only 18 chapters not utilized which means it'll be another 10 years before we see another anime most likely since the manga is so slow to release. They could have slowed the pacing and given us 24 episodes of the same content at least and it would have felt much better. Hell, they could have made it go on even a bit more had they started Hallow with an actual introduction to the series and kind of flashback / recap the events up to Hallow as sort of a refresher after the long lapse of time between them, which would have gone a long way in getting people more into the events of Hallow instead of wondering about things they had forgotten about.
