Nickelodeon to revive 90's catalog on new "The Splat" TV Channel

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, apparently a new channel from Nickelodeon/Viacom called "The Splat" is in the works. It's programming is to be comprised of 90's cartoons and live series from the Nick back catalog. No info on any HD feeds or if the content will be old or new transfers. I mean, HD or not, I could totally go for new PDTVs of some Nick shows with lackluster DVDs/WEBDLs. Who else here is hyped?

Most of the other stuff is readily available on DVD but if you want to grab the other stuff too, that's fine with me. I don't have cable, so I shall not be able to watch them and I would greatly appreciate if one of you kind people could help me out.

I was just about to make a thread about this .... good thing I searched first, lol.

It has already started airing.  It is not a new TV channel but rather a specific time slot (on an existing channel) thats reserved for these old shows (Kind of Like Nick at Night).  Near me it is airing on the "Teen Nick" Channel every night starting at 10pm.  Unfortunately, the channel is only in SD, not HD.  Still, there are a few shows I am really interested in like:

Hey Dude

Salute Your Shorts

I could not find any streaming videos on their website, so I guess its only on TV, at least for now.  Maybe somebody will be able to do some TV Rips of these shows and post them in the Live Action section, since some (if not all) have never been released.

If it's not made clear already, this Captain Marvel is about the MCU movie & character Carol Danvers, not the title Shazam from DC (though he was created by Fawcett Comics before it was absorbed into DC & was called CM for a while) used to have. Moving on...
Captain Marvel is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the twenty-first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, with Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Liz Flahive, and Carly Mensch also contributing to the screenplay. Brie Larson stars in the title role, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, Mckenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.
Plot: Set in the mid-1990s, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former military U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy's mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.
Release Date: March 8, 2019 (US)
And we got our first trailer today:

First of all, sorry if this doesn't belong here.
I've been looking for season 2 to 8 of Spongebob Squarepants (since they're only in SD) and I realise that the iTunes WEB-DLs of S02 look terrible and I came across with what I think are the dvdrips released by TheLastOfUs that look incredibly sharp and colourful (compared to the WEB-DLs). So my question is: which release is the best option to download and keep? You can compare entire seasons or just episodes.

So I was wondering if any of you guys has any official dvd releases of cartoon network shows with American Spanish Dub, I know this site it's focues on the original english tracks and english dubs, but I know some cartoon releases like Samurai Jack and Star Wars The Clone Wars includes the spanish dub.
If you have a cartoon on dvd, any cartoon old or new, except for Samurai Jack and SWTCW, and it has spanish dub, please consider to include it with your releases, that would be really great.
