Mist Posted September 20, 2014 Report Share Posted September 20, 2014 My favorite old school game happens to be my favorite game of all time: Chrono Trigger. I loved everything about that game, the sound track, the story, the gameplay, the graphics, the artwork... It was a true quest against the ages... LITERALLY. I loved that feeling in the game, a fearless hero traveling through time itself and trying to stop a seemingly unstoppable force that has been playing God since the start of human evolution. To destroy the very creature that has manipulated humanity since the dawn of man. It's an amazing feeling in a game to feel like the story is about YOU. You are not just "experiencing" the story, you ARE the story. You are the hero, the fate of men lies upon you, you feel empowered and capable of doing anything. I know it's fantastical thinking, but I just don't feel that in games much anymore...
