To be honest, some of them are quite nice, but the majority of them look like you made the background and just slapped the stocks on them last second. I'm not familiar with Gimp, but you should look into learning how to use blending filters/options.

Of the ones up there, these two are your best:

It wasn't "last second," but I did pretty much just slap two pictures together.

I'm not that familiar with GIMP either yet. But I will look into that.

And I like those two as well.

Thank you for your input. :)

This one is kind of funny.

It's like they are the ones talking... but Ed would beat anyone who called him tiny and you'd never hear him say that he is tiny no matter the context.. xD I just noticed it and thought I'd comment, lolz.

I didn't think about that...

But it is actually a quote from the series. And Ed's the one that says it.

Maybe he doesn't mind if he's calling himself tiny...?

i think your last is your best. i really like the positioning of the stock. you should try adding textures or doing some kind of smudging or those fun c4ds everyone seems to use now a-days. ^0^ im not sure how gimp works, so i can't give you that much suggestions ;;

Do you mean like the Gaussian Blur filter? I've looked into a few tutorials and people seem to love using that.

Just to be clear, should I work on blending the edges of the render into the background? I guess I don't really know where to start. XP

Thanks to a friend, I now have Photoshop, and I've been obsessed with it for the past couple of days. These are the result of studying many tutorials and attempting the kind advice that I have been given:

picture.php?albumid=9&pictureid=105

picture.php?albumid=9&pictureid=102

EDIT:

I also added these to the original post.
