I remember one phrase about heavy rains I learnt in DLI literally translated to something like "water being poured from a glove". Another phrase I learnt that was kind of weird but understandable translated to something like, "makes the mud dirtier". In reference to someone who makes things worse, IIRC. (i made that up in my head too) had water come in through wwindows and doors, raining sideways, like the rain was drunk. I love it thou when it is only mildly storming, but when you are trying to get an 8 month old to sleep...its not really working for it. Same type of weather here......I think the climates are changing all over the world now and now we can't determine the weather like before. I spent like fifteen minutes cleaning out the car and now I want to curl up inside of the freezer.
