Afro Samurai

Ao no Exorcist

Berserk

Blade of the Immortal

Blassreiter

Claymore

Devil May Cry

Fate series

Kemonozume

Queen's Blade

Samurai Champloo

Shigurui

Sword Art Online

Zombie Loan

Most of these only somewhat fit into the category, most arent based fully on swordplay. But still, hope at least a couple look appealing

I thought you were suggesting yourself anime, I was soooo confused.

I have to second Berserk as it's a really great one. The only other one I can think of that hasn't been named is Sword of the Stranger.

I was quoting them, but the quotes didn't appear -.-

Claymore's a good one. Chaos Head has a fair amount of sword stuff and school stuff but it's like a horror though.

Breathless mentioned Sword of the Stranger and that's fantastic unfortunately it's just a movie rather than a series.

I second Dark_Angel's post on Samurai Champloo. If you haven't seen that, start with that.

Btw, anyone mentioned Samurai X? That's a fantastic one as well.

One type of anime I have always loved are those Big Adventure Types (Hunter x Hunter, Monster Rancher, Sword Art Online, etc)

However I have found not too many of them, if anyone has any recommendations that would be great.

On a side note, I also love Samurai (post war) shows like Rurouni Kenshin, or Samurai Champloo. Anything good in this category would be nice too.

      Thanks in Advance.

Hey guys...I was going to write something like "porn" or "sex" in the title..figured I'd get more views that way but then I thought it would just be removed or something

Anyway, I'm looking for some new series that are more mature..something that has a good story and is aimed at an older audience. Something with action is preferred but I'm generally an all-round kinda guy so I'll watch most things. Shows like Claymore, Cannan, Deadman Wonderland, Deathnote, FMA Brotherhood, etc...

      Cheers guys

      Hi folks

I was just wondering about what order to start watching Gintanama? There seems to be several different series..

But most importantly where can I find HQ downloads for this anime?

      thanks:D

Hiya! I'm newbie in the anime world and it is becoming very, very addicting. Would love to some recommendations as I am not to familiar with some of titles. So far I've watched:

      Samurai Champloo

      Fruits Baskets

      Ouran Highschool Host Club

Aquarion (currently watching and liking it!)

      That's it....haha

So, cha! Thanks in advance peeps! <3

I remember watching this anime but I cant remember its title nor find it in my lists

Here some details that I remember:

      - it was supernatural theme with demons and monsters that were born from the contracts

      - at some point main character got invited out to a forest or a school camp(maybe) in the forest.

      - one of girlfriends of the main character was demon while ?other(s)? were human

      - main character with ?friends? met with student president(who was a demon) in the forest at night to fight a monster and a monster was school presidents 'child' born from the contract (I think that president was on the bike)

      - I may be confusing something with some other anime but main character had trouble at school camp when a storm destroyed a bridge between student side and a teachers side, he and his friends may have been doing something in the forest day before that (it feels similar to a moment from Persona 4 but in P4 there were no demons in the real world)

I remember a fight between the monster and somebody or something like that I also remember the conversation about how  monster needed to be killed, but its 'mother' (demon student president) didn't want to kill it, but its 'father' (human who signed the contract) wanted to kill it; like that or the roles may have been reversed.

Its been bugging me as hell two days in the row! I can remember that scene and thats all, so frustrating........

      Any names would be appreciated!

p.s. its my memories, so if I didn't remember it properly do correct me.
