Last Video Game You Finished Playing Through?

Recommended Posts

Finished Scorn (PC). Was a really short game, but that is nice to have as not all games need 40+ hours.

Today I finished my replay of the original Final Fantasy VII on PC. Was sweet revisiting this one after having played part one of the remake.

  • God of War: Chains of Olympus (PS3)
  • God of War (2005) (PS3)
  • God of War: Ghost of Sparta (PS3)
  • God of War: Betrayal (Mobile)
  • God of War II (PS3)

Went on a God of War binge earlier this month while waiting on Crisis Core Reunion to eventually release on December 13th. It helps that all of these games are pretty short so I could quickly get through them. I think I clocked around 20 hours total across all of them combined. Of course the next three games coming up are much longer so those will have to wait a bit before I get to them, but I do plan to get to them at some point. At this time I'm mostly focusing on Crisis Core Reunion, Dragon Quest Treasures, and Tactics Ogre Reborn.

Finished Dragon Quest Treasures (Switch). Pretty short game I suppose, although I did skip completing some of the side content like popping all the balloons scattered across the world. Overall I played 13 hours and 29 minutes and enjoyed my time with the game. I do miss the old turn-based combat that DQ Monsters always had.

Finished Monark (PC). Completed the story and it said I could load the save to grind some levels and rematch the final boss for some post-game content... but I'm not going to bother doing that, at least for now. Who knows about later, though I doubt it. Game was fun, but wasn't really something I'd probably revisit.

Finished Tales of Innocence R (Vita). Nice game, shame neither it nor the original version of Innocence was ever officially localized, but it's awesome that fans came to the rescue with a fan translation patch. There was some UI things such as the save menu that wasn't translated and a bit of dialogue here or there felt a bit awkward or stiff, but overall it was enjoyable. Who knows which Tales of game I'll pick up next. There's so many to choose from and I've barely begun to touch the surface.

Finally finished Tactics Ogre: Reborn (PC). Oh boy, this game was fun for a while, but it was certainly a chore and the heavy grind at the end was just painful. Total playtime was just under 90 hours and there was still much I could've grinded for.

Last time I completed was Hitman 3. I got hooked of wanting to replay Hitman 1 for the first time in a few years, then followed  by 2. Basically, they are the same, except 2 and 3 provided better upgrades. I have repeately played H1 campaign three times in a row. Couldn't get enough of the silent assassin.

I went back on resuming Sonic Generation for the PS3 as one of my backlog and finally wiped the floor with it. My main intention was earning S Rank on every main acts while I was trying to collect the red rings and obtaining collectables from the challenge acts on the way. After I finished the game, it didn't occur to me that each level are actually from the original Sonic games. I was aware about the few Zone's such as Green Hills, Chemical Plant, etc. I grew up playing through Sonic 3 & Knuckles and a bit of Sonic Adventure from the first level.

Chained Echoes (PC) is the latest game to add to my completion list. I heard the dev is still going to update it further with a New Game+ and such later, so I'll see how that goes I suppose.

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition for the PS4. I originally bought the Duke Nukem Version. My guess was only that but happened to got the original version along it's way. Decided to play the original and beat it on very hard mode. Might think to throw a 2nd playthrough. This time, it will be Duke. It real good to hear and play him again like another DN franchise. Since DN Forever I think- Wait, it's 20th Anniversary.

Since I was told I can do this here's the topic for it.

This will be a collaboration/collection/whatever you want to call it of the streams that I do on Twitch. I can only stream PS4 games right now at the moment because I've been using the PS4 Broadcast thing on the PS4 itself to do them. The only problem with doing that, is that occasionally, the screen will go all blue and you won't be able to see anything when the dumb 'Gameplay Recording Paused Due to Blocked Scene' pops up. But I don't have the money, the funds, or the technological wherewithal to know how else to do it.

The only other game systems I have are the 3DS and the Switch and you can't stream 3DS games without hacking the 3DS, as far as I'm aware, so that's a no-go either and the same for the Switch. I wouldn't even know how to stream Switch games either. Most of this probably revolves around 'Capture Cards' which I just do not have the money for, and really don't see a reason to shell out the money for, when I don't see a problem with just using the PS4 Broadcast Gameplay on the PS4 itself. It accomplishes what I want anyway. Which is just to have fun streaming some PS4 games. It's pretty much the only method I have right now to upload to YouTube right now anyway and it's not like I'm trying to become a popular streamer/YouTube/whatever (seriously I'm not. I'm just doing it for fun mostly). I suppose I could post the YouTube versions in this thread as well... but... they are unedited videos so... yeah... maybe not such a good idea. 😅

Anyway I decided to make this thread now because I'm pretty close to being done with/being satisfied with what I did/accomplished in Pokemon Ultra Sun so I'll be able to start streaming again soon because my next game I'm going to play/on my LARGE backlog list is a PS4 game. Specifically this one:

      😮

Anyway I'll just post in this thread again and maybe make a status update for when I'm about to stream/what time the stream will likely start and then I'll edit the post when the stream is over. I suppose, if there's enough demand for it, I'll post the really bad unedited YouTube-version of it as well when it goes up on my channel.

For now, I'll just post a link to my Twitch account, which is mainly where the streams will be done obviously. I don't want to break any 'self-advertisement' rules for posting a link to my YouTube channel as well but it'll be easily found if people request the really bad unedited YouTube-version as well. 😅

Anyway enough of this. Here's a link to my Twitch. Oh, and one more thing. I was doing this before Kametsu went clean so I have other streams I've done, however during one of them, I... got harassed. So I had no choice but to implement some 'chat rules' (nothing too restrictive) as well as where you have to 'follow' me on Twitch for 10 minutes before you can start chatting. Sorry. It's only because I don't want to run the risk of being harassed again.

Okay that's it I swear. He's my Twitch channel:

      https://www.twitch.tv/animedamage

I can't really give an estimation as to when I'll start streaming Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory, but I want to change things up a little and stream the beginning of a game for once. I'm not going to turn Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory into a full 'Let's Play' or whatever I just want to change things up and stream the beginning of a game for once. Although that does run the risk of the annoying 'blue screen' because I don't know how many scenes will be 'blocked' for Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory with the dumb 'Gameplay Recording Paused Due to Blocked Scene' notification so apologies for that beforehand if it happens.

Anyway all I can really say is that I'm only doing the Rainbow Rocket part in Ultra Sun (which I'm at right now) and then I'll be satisfied with the game. So it may be soon. Stay tuned? I guess?

*still hopes that me doing this is still allowed and I don't end up in the Shadow Dimension again* 😰

      greetings...

this is my first post and i would like to give advice based on my experience in playing video games since 1988, for modern games i would wait for like 3 to 6 months until buying one, that way the game gets little bit cheaper, issues and bugs or glitches get fixed, also i would go for the pc version instead of console version, that way you would get fixes faster, that is for player who have powered-up PC's.

and if there's no pc version, only console version, i would go for downloadable games because of faster loading and faster multiplayer experiences.

even though i'm new here, i don't mean to brag or anything, i just wanted to see your replies so i can benefit from those who can advice me on better game playing experience.
