This show has everything! I'm only up to episode 92 so far (Only been watching for 2 weeks) but the future of the show sounds even better! BeeDubby Posted December 25, 2012 Report Share Posted December 25, 2012 The art was a major turn off and kept me away from the show for a long time...Never judge a book by its cover!!!Once I started watching I very quickly fell in love with the show...Even the art style is beautiful once you get used to it (happened quicker than I expected)! yummi Posted December 27, 2012 Report Share Posted December 27, 2012 My first thoughts on One Piece was pretty unfavorable. I tried starting it a couple of times actually because people raved about it soooo much. When I actually did buckle down and read it though... blew my mind. I love it. The biggest selling point for me is the nakama theme. I've always been a big sentimental sob about the whole "friendship/bond/mates" thing. It's the same reason why I like Fairy Tails and all the other major mangas with the nakama theme. It's a good theme. Anyways yeah. One Piece - first thoughts: why is the art so funny looking?
