† Emotional Outlet 986 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 Haha, yes, that was the implication behind my dying statements. I'm probably never going to change my ways. I'm just going to stir fry everything. Buy a wok. Pancit noodles everywhere.
Dark_Angel13 357 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 I know lol, I was just saying anyway for those who may not of gotten it. Stir frys are good though so at least it'll be nice food til you die of too much cholesterol lol
† Emotional Outlet 986 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 I have eaten so many bags of Hot Cheetos that I have guaranteed myself at least one ulcer or some other digestive issue in the future. And Hot Pockets. Pretty sure those aren't good for you. But they're delicious??? My unrefined palate will make sure that not only will I never be an Iron Chef, I will never be a food competition judge. "I'm not eating that. I don't eat octopus.""It was the secret ingredient.""No points for anyone."
Dark_Angel13 357 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 Lol, I eat a lot of chicken salt... I think that's bad for me...
† Emotional Outlet 986 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 I try not to add salt if I can help it. The only time I consciously add it is if I am baking and it is in the ingredient list. I think I get salt from pretty much everything else, so I don't need any more? I wish I had a personal nutritionist, haha. But I still eat almost all of my fruit with salt. I am going to die because I like salt on my apples.
Dark_Angel13 357 Report post Posted February 1, 2013 You have salt on fruit? That's odd, never heard of that being done before. I actually cooked for once last night lol, I made some crumbed chicken and seasoned it and made some vegies, was good
† Emotional Outlet 986 Report post Posted February 1, 2013 Salt on watermelon is common, but I like it on my apples and oranges. You should try it. Just make a little salt pile and then gently dip your fruit pieces in the salt. Gently. We're having Chinese tonight.
Dark_Angel13 357 Report post Posted February 1, 2013 I may just try it and I think I have watermelon too in ma fridge all sliced up
† Anras Rune 57 Report post Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) I have some salt in orange juice. Brings out the flavour. Tis nice on watermelon too, thats why the spanish it salt serrano ham with it. But anyhoo I had some home made ramen! God I love Coles, never knew they sold mirin, or miso, or any of that jazz. So today I kinda splurged and this is the result; Rune's Teriyaki Bacon and Beef Miso Ramen! (I realised I didn't have chicken so I thought, meh bacon goes with everything). Dark_Angel13 357 Report post Posted February 8, 2013 Looks alright and yeah Coles sells a lot of stuff, I prefer Aldi though for majority of my shopping, they sell nice stir fry stuff =) which is what I had last night
VampireLover285 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2013 Pizza Hut and it wasn't that great because I like more meat on my pizza than fruit.
Dark_Angel13 357 Report post Posted February 9, 2013 Fruit on pizza? What kind of pizza did you get? -facepalms- oh right pineapple lol
† Emotional Outlet 986 Report post Posted February 9, 2013 You could make like a cookie pizza! With chocolate and candies and stuff. There's a place at the mall that does these kinds of dessert pizzas. I made an unholy amalgamation of vinegar, spicy SPAM, and potatoes. It turned out better than anticipated, haha. I do most of my shopping at Weis. Sometimes Wegman's, to buy my shampoo and stuff.
Dark_Angel13 357 Report post Posted February 9, 2013 I've seen those dessert pizzas before, one of them was a nutella pizza (chocolate hazelnut spread) and I was like, is it just me or does that sound awesome?!
† Emotional Outlet 986 Report post Posted February 9, 2013 Nutella doesn't last long in this household. It just vanishes. I think they eat it straight from the jar.
Dark_Angel13 357 Report post Posted February 9, 2013 Well it does make a pretty good snack, nutella fingers! like peanut butter fingers lol
† Emotional Outlet 986 Report post Posted February 9, 2013 They must be, because we never finish a loaf of bread before it goes bad. How is that even possible? We are terrible people. Peanut butter does last a while, though. I think it is too rich for all of us to eat in quantity.
Dark_Angel13 357 Report post Posted February 9, 2013 I like my peanut butter spread thickly, Nutella makes me feel sick if I have it too much. I cut my loafs of bread in half and freeze the other half cause I never finish a complete loaf, I'm usually always throwing away the half anyway... should stop buying bread lol
† Emotional Outlet 986 Report post Posted February 9, 2013 Does bread freeze well? Or certain kinds? I prefer honey wheat. I am not good at storing things in the freezer, so if it needs to be treated well, I will just be ruining bread, haha. I should probably just cave in and start baking them when I want them. Dark_Angel13 357 Report post Posted February 9, 2013 Bread freezes fairly well actually, I wouldnt leave it in there over 2 weeks or so but it lasts in their well and defrosts nicely, give it a try =)
