Katongo
Once i start a new anime or currently watching one i prefer not to watch the opening or ending theme songs because they reveal too much than the should and end up spoiling the fun ahead. I only watch them after i complete the anime that am watching.
lemmingllama
I rarely watch them, but I will listen to them while I get stuff inbetween episodes. Plus some are catchy and it leads to me downloading the soundtrack
Diablo
I do watch OP and ED. Once I had this Anime series in that, the OP and ED were extracted seperately to keep size low. But I used to put them in playlist and watch them along with the Anime. As for the spoilers, there are very few OP and ED which give them away and they aren't even major spoilers. idl12
I watch them a lot of the time, the only Op I remember with a serious amount of spoilers was the one for the Pain Arc of Naruto, they went ahead and pretty much gave away all of the deaths and important events. Koby
Depends if I like the song or not. Also they rarely spoil anything because 90% of the time the animation in the OP and ED are something completely new that never happens in the series period. If it's a song I like I'll usually sing-along sometimes, lol.
ragnawind
I will usually watch the OP and ED once and then watch it again during episodes that have them playing with different songs/animations or in the final episode. Cutting them out frees up about 3 minutes of time while watching a show, usually, since they are 95% of the time a minute and a half each. Wake
I normally watch the opening and ending at least once just to see it, after that it all depends if I liked it or not. Most times I just skip it after a few episodes in because I want to get to watching the show but there have been a few OP&ED's that I've really liked and watched through the entire show, but that's a rarity. jade335
I watch the opening and endings for the first couple of episodes and on the last one. I get too impatient in the middle of the series to wait through the opening songs. ^^
valgaav
I usually watch both, I enjoy the music, but to me it seems the Opening song is better than the End song. Only a few anime where I liked both.
ZeroPenguins
I watch them for one or two times, if I really enjoyed it then maybe 5 times max. After that I skip through them every time.
Hitomi
I usually love watching opening and endings. Unless the song is horrible and/or doesn't go well with the anime, and is lacking in synchronization. But usually they're fine and don't spoil anything major (if it all). Baka
That's one of my addictions, I'm not exactly sure why, but I will find out about an anime go to youtube and watch the raw and/or creditless version of at least the first opening and watch and usually download it :3 That way I remember to get the rest of the series <3 haha I normally start skipping them 2-3 episodes in though and only watch them on their own xP Though a few *Cough Cough* Drrr!! *Cough Cough* I watch /every/time :
Jarlaxle
Always watch them both once, and usually the Opening for every subsequent episode if it was done well (meaning a decent theme and well-chosen background art/etc). Most of the time I detest the Endings, but will stomach them once as they sometimes provide visions of things to come, so to speak.I like it when they put a lot of effort into the Openings and change them regularly (ala Naruto/Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) but in saying that there are some exceptions which rarely if ever change (such as Dragon Ball Uncut/DBZ Uncut) that despite having hundreds~ of episodes I almost never skip them since I can't really get sick of them. >_>
la5er
YES, I usually am able to dictate where an anime is at in the spectrum of animes from the OP and how well the story is going to be after the first eps ED. The more thorough the lyrical and musical thought process is. The more the production company cares about it and not just making a quick buck. VolvoKing
I watch them but I like it when they change it when it becomes a new season. Something like they do with Bleach.
violetsun92
i love most of the op and ed of my fav animes but some do reveal stuff about wats to come but some are just random i love the music!!! even though i dont understand it
Jikochuu
I watch the opening and ending anime once. After that, it depends... If I've enjoyed watching them, then I'd keep watching ^^Otherwise I'd skip them
†Apollo
I love anime openings and endings, so I watch them pretty much every time!!! I guess there are a few endings out there I don't like as much, and I might skip those, but I always watch the openings.
KabuSaku
It really depends on if like the song and animation enough. I always watch the OP and ED for the first five episodes and by then I tend to get sick of it and I end up skipping it over when I watch the rest. However in cases such as Baccano! and Durarara!!, where they show scenes that give some backstory or expanation to the episode, I sat through each one. So it really does depend on not only the song, but also if it reveals any hints on what's going on.
