"Sakura Trick". Nothing to say much here. Well, the only last weeks show. Skipped almost entirelly. Cute animation, cute characters. Just story too boring. Some good scenes, but other than that not worth my time. With my "skip" watching finished it in one evening.

Spiral............good but confusing anime, it never did truly explain the story of the blade children in the anime, it's very frustrating.

 

Too much was unsolved to be truly satisified with how the anime turned out.

"Mardock Scramble". Finally finished it. Took long enough to watch all three movies. Result - huge let down. Apart visuals and cute main heroine, all three movies weren't good (well, except first one; it was rather good and somewhat promising). Well, some good action scenes made it more watchable, but it wasn't enough. Though first movie promised this show to be good, later on it went down hill. And when action moved to casino it became even more boring. It really wasn't what I expected.  4/10 at most.

I completed Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad today.

 

To be honest... I don't know how I heard of this but when I did people were saying that it was really good.

 

I'll admit... it was good. It's a nice a little slice of life anime that is also about music with some romance mixed in with good character development.

 

But... there's really not much else to say about it. I don't know. I guess I was expecting more from how much I had heard about it.

 

Oh well.

 

I'll get the rest of the story by reading the manga once I'm finished with the Soul Eater manga.

 

It was still good though and I did like it.

Past weeks relatively were good. Couple of finished shows in my collection:"Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou" and "No Game No Life".

 

"Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou" Nice slice of life easy romantic comedy. Well, wanted to see more of that "romantic" stuff, but was satisfied and with what I had. Nice animation, very enjoyable characters, good story. With current ending could expect and second season in distant future, but I doubt that; that's why wanted it to be more concluded. Either way 9/10. Still story wasn't so good that I could give it a 10.

 

"No Game No Life". Another good show. Somewhat different animation (but I liked it), good characters, somewhat good (but not very) storyline. Some very enjoyable episodes (last ones), somewhat couple of not so enjoyable ones. Often felt sorry for Dola. She was a nice girl. Often couldn't stand attitude of siblings; their "we can't lose", "we are the best" irritated me too often. But overall I liked them. As well no clear ending prompting to second season (unlikely though). All in all 8/10.

Pokemon Origins.

 

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. EVERYONE SHOULD GO WATCH IT RIGHT NOW.

 

The Charizard vs Mewtwo fight was EPIC and I LOVED how they didn't avoid the subject of death in episode 2.

 

I just hope this series doesn't air on TV/CN at some point because episode 2 would be RAPE EDITED because of the death stuff in it.

 

It's just AMAZING.

 

I'd LOVE to see more stuff like this.

Finished Kill la Kill today. 3/5. I thought it was okay. It got kind of boring near the end.

I finished the reboot movie 009 Re:Cyborg...

As a fan of the 009 series, I was dissapointed in what the director did to the story, and when I try to ignore that it is a 009 movie, it makes even less sense.

The movie was like two different stories in one movie, the first being an espionage movie, the second being two oposit views on religon.

Then the ending, was messed up.

First "His voice" who was supposed to be like a god is the undfeatable bad guy and making everyday people and different governments bomb towers and national landmarks, then blame the 00 cyborgs on the bomings.

Also for some reason "His Voice takes the form of a little girl.

Then at the end they treat "His Voice" as a blessing after they just had a life or death battle against his followers and many people died, then all the dead people came back to life for no explained reason, and are in venice italy, which is now a island in the middle of no were, and everyone is happy.

Also, were did the little girl go?

It was like two different people made the movie, and combines both there stories into one thing.

To many things unexplained and unrelated in this movie.

Kanojo ga Flag wo Oretara. I think it's a shame the way it turned out. I was hoping for nonsense and instead I got plot... that wound up being nonsense.

Finished watch Eden of the East

 

It seemed like a really good anime. The first two eps didn't draw me in, but after that it started getting really good. Unfortunately the final three eps really let me down. You have to watch the two movies in order to complete the story, personally I've never liked watching anime movies.

 

They should have just continued the story with the anime series.

 

Final verdict: It seemed promising, looked like it would turn out to be some big shocker. Instead the shocker was not a good one.

Last one I finished was Nanana's Buried Treasure! I thought I wasn't going to like it at first, but it was really interesting and I just couldn't stop watching. Really liked the adventure aspect and the characters! (: It was really short though and I just want more, Also made me want to read the light novels, just sad that none are translated yet!

Seikoku no Dragonar - Kind of felt a little like The Familiar of Zero. Had a little difficulty with the pacing as well. Enjoyed it nonetheless.

Kurozuka - I am still quite confused by this one.

 

It's been awhile since I finished some anime and this is all I've managed to watch in that time. But I enjoyed them all.

 

Selector Infected WIXOSS - Really liked the twist in this one, but it was kinda expected. Definitely needs another season and looks like their will be one.

 

Red Data Girl - Nothing special about this show. It was neither bad or really good.

 

Murder Princess - A short 6 episode show. Was really good IMO.

"Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii" and "Tonari no Seki-kun".

 

"Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii". Was expecting it too be better. Half of the show was rather good, but other half was not so. Well, to say the truth it started to go down (slowly though) from the beginning. It wasn't bad (it had some potential to be very good), but neither story, neither main characters were interesting enough. And they definitely don't make a good couple. 5/10 in the end, though expected not that.

 

"Tonari no Seki-kun". As expected. Average show with some good episodes. No real plot, just some fun games during lessons. No disappointment with this one. And it being short was a good thing as well, as to see the same thing (games, games, games and one more time games) happening over and over again kinda got boring after half of it. But managed to finish it. One more thing: some romance between two protagonists would have been not such a bad idea.

It had a slow beginning, a couple of filler arcs, timeline issues, and some randomly placed filler episodes. I thought the battle scenes, plot, and character development were great. I actually just finished the series today. I have a few more of the movies left. I enjoyed it despite it's flaws. If they continue making more episodes after the final arc is complete for the manga I will definitely start watching it again.

I felt like it started getting good when Renji and Byakuya came to take Rukia into custody. The Soul Society arc was so badass!

Finished watching Future Diary and freaking loved it, every little twist and turn along the way was mad and the brutal in your face yet somewhat justified violence with pretty cool, but i did notice one thing that even though it had a consistently strong story i did find the ending a bit weak and confusing but still good, im going to go back and re-watch it in a few weeks after some minor details have escaped my short term memory and i can watch it fresh and see if i can understand it a bit more.

 

In the mean time iv started bleach and gave up... just bored the crap out of me... one fight generally takes up half a season, the episodes excluding OP, catch up, preview and ED generally come to 8-10 minutes which just chits me up the wall.

So im going to watch Kill La Kill on the way home (never seen it, havnt read up anything on it, so im going in blind)

Persona 4: The Animation

 

I started watching this for two reasons:

     

     1.My friend kept bugging me to watch it.

     2.Persona 4: The Golden Animation is airing this season

 

Therefor; I thought it was the perfect time to start watching, and it was not disappointing. It was a great show as a whole, and while I could definitely point out some flaws here in there, it turned out to be a great series. Now I just have to wait for P4G to finish airing so I can watch that. 

 

Episodes 1-63 was pretty bad ass. Everything after was just about pure garbage.

 

 

Looks like someone had the exact same experience with Bleach as I did. Seriously, I gave up about half way through the whole vampire thing...
