It's been talked about for a few months now and they finally released a trailer. Unfortunately it looks to be set during the series some point instead of after and the animation looks closer to the original instead of Brotherhood judging by the trailer I saw a few days ago (didn't check the trailer posted here but I assume its the same one). Wake Posted November 18, 2010 Report Share Posted November 18, 2010 I don't know I might be the only one who feels this way, but this makes me kind of sad. I mean I wanted something that would farther expand the story and development of Fullmetal Alchemist the series. Like maybe an adventure a few years into the future after the ending of the manga or something or even a prequel to the series. But from the looks of it, this movie is just an attempt to keep fan interest in the series by making some kind of random adventure that doesn't really fit into the manga storyline. Maddiie69 Posted November 18, 2010 Report Share Posted November 18, 2010 Looks average IMO, many things could have been improved such as; -The animation looks to be similar to the original series-It is set in the middle of the series rather than at the end (although, to make a movie after the ending would force either a plot-hole filled movie or a boring movie where Ed has absolutely no Alchemical abilities)-IT CONFUSES MAH BRAIN CAUSE I CANT SPEAK TEH JAPARESE! Because Conquerer of Shamballa was EXCELLENT and it cleared away any plot holes left by the series and was a nice ending to the original show.
