I don't know how far off the anime is from the book, so I don't know if there is enough original material for another season but damn did it have a lousy ending. They should've just come up with their own plot like FMA.Also I really wish they would make a new season of Hikaru no Go season and actually finish the entire original plot off. When a show ends well you don't wanna mess it up or lengthen the story needlessly. It'd just ruin the impact it had in the first place. Shows like Code Geass, FLCL, and Gurren Lagann ended just fine and there is no reason to continue the main story.
