It needed a full season rather than 2 episodes attempting to crush 25 episodes worth in that two episodes and tie us over with probably the ending ive ever seen. The episodes they have in the anime versions thus far barely scratch the surface of what those two series are all about. Koby Posted December 23, 2011 Report Share Posted December 23, 2011 Air Gear - I just finished watching the show myself and damn, he makes a jump and all of a sudden the end credits roll. I like sitting there dumbfounded like 'really?'. Seriously the show was awesome, but I haven't seen a series this open ended since Spiral back six or seven years ago. Ikki finally proved he had the potential to take on the Sky Kings but the show just ends before he takes any of them on yet the entire show was build up towards him becoming King. I feel like nothing was accomplished and nothing about the story was finished or even close to becoming so. They ended it pretty much at the beginning of what would become his legacy. That way if it's good you can truly enjoy the whole thing, and the same with bad animes, just so you can truly say how horrible it was, bearing in mind everyone's got different ideas of what's good and what's bad.
