MegaBeach
I rather English dub than Japanese, just because I don't like much to hear Japanese. But, in 50% of the cases ill go for Japanese, because there are new anime which didn't gut Eng dubbed yet, or because the Eng dub was poorly done. Nintendon't
I pretty much always go dubbed. I tried watching subs in the past but man I just can't get into them. Something about reading a show takes me out of it on top of the Japanese language being really boring to listen to as well.
darknessranger
i dont know about you guys but im more in to dubbing becasue i can pay attention more to whats being said and the anime instead of watching it via subs where you have to focus on the words to get the jist of whats going on
wolfking
Both are fine if you ask me you get the sub you get the uncut version of the anime the dub sometimes the story can be told a different way depending on how well the V.o. actors are
cjh1110
I just recently started to watch anime, for me I cannot watch subs and only watch dubs. For me subs just take me away what is going on the screen.
rsgeiger
While I love the storylines of Japanese anime, the language itself can be hard on my western ears. And subtities dont always have the same polish as a good dub does. StaticX
Honestly, If people just Confine themselves to English dubbed anime only and refuse to watch a series until it's dubbed, you'll be missing out on some great shows or Movies. Just my two cents.. froggyfran
im personally not that picky, if its in dub ill watch it in dub but if its not i have no problem wating the subbed version.
davos
I automatically just go for dubs. I don't know why. I mean, I watch foreign movies all the time without dubs but when it comes to anime it's dubbed or not at all.
Ecio
I generally go for Japanese. However, if the voice acting is really good and the script isn't too far from the original, then I don't really mind. I really like the dubs for certain animes -Fullmetal Alchemist BrotherhoodShin Chan - VitelloUltimate Muscle If I do watch a dubbed anime, i tend to watch it with japanese subtitles as well. There has been some instances where some Japanese animes have terrible voice acting or voices that does not suit the character to me - in that case, I generally watch another version, drop it, or read it. PurplePenguin
I'm surprised 'Doesn't Matter to me' has less than 8% of the vote. I enjoy both the dubs and subs I've only ever come across one show which I couldn't stand watching dubbed and that was Deadman Wonderland. Ganta's voice was horrible.

I used to be really put off of subs, I think because I was lazy. But now I don't really care. I'll watch anything, haha. If I had a choice, I'd watch the dubbed version though. Although apparently Durarara!! has been dubbed and I didn't even know, haha.
kalik
For me it depends on the anime. Dubbed I much preferred things like DBZ/DB but subbed Bleach has much better voice actors for the show, its just a shame Yamamoto's actor died a couple weeks back. professa X
Broom! I liked it but it was to rapey type anime so decided not to continue in the manga
skdjhkfj
I've always preferred subbed anime over English dubbed anime. Thinking about it, I've only ever watched one English dubbed anime, and it wasn't a really good experience. Anime dubbed in my local language, however, is okay with me. dbluver
I just go dubs as well, i focus more on watching instead of reading ^^But if there is no dub then i just watch the original as it is  Else i love to hear both very much (:
Tsukumo Yuma
Most of the stuff I watch is subbed because the dub is ether not out there, or if it is, it is really bad, and edits and changes the story.Plus the Japanese actors are usually better, and I like there voices, exspecially Tomokazu Sugita, Hiroaki Hirata and YÅ« Kobayashi's voice acting. Omar1st
I was a big fan of the dub. Couldnt stand the sub! First anime, as for many obviously was Dragonball Z. Grew up with the dub, then got into Naruto and beared with the dub (which I thought was ok, apart from BELIEVE IT!) Then once I caught up, I started on the sub and any other anime I have thus watched, its always the sub! I do switch from time to time just to compare. goofydude
I watch both, I am often surprised at how much I missed when I watch the dub after the sub.. I also really like being able to focus on the screen action instead of constantly looking at the words (then there are the subs that put something on the screen but not quite enough (or nowhere near enough) time to read it. And I end up having to repeat parts. However I do enjoy both. General rule:If it is already dubbed, I watch the dubbed only. If it is partially dubbed I watch Dub until Sub If it is not dubbed, I obviously watch the dub... patience is [not] a virtue If it is not subbed, I rage and moan and bitch... to nobody in particular.  (works 100% of the time 50% of the time)
Sparxx
I go either way, but rather watch it dubbed. It just seems sometimes it's hard to watch what's going on in the scene while trying to read the subs or you're focusing on the scene and missing out on some of the dialogue.
