Scans show the tumor is more than likely the cause of the lung collapse.. it is pressing on the left lung ..it has grown massive in almost 2 months. It is now in the liver and it is pressing on her gut making her puke everything that is on her tummy. It is also causing the kidneys not to function and bowels because it is obstructing them. They are going to drain fluid we are gonna try and get her kidneys and lung better and she wants more chemo she will not quit. We are forwarding scans to Houston and Ny to get 2nd and 3rd opinions too

Good News!! Kidneys checked out fine! Huge relief.Lungs are inflated, suction is clamped..Xrays at 4 and if still stable chest tube will come out. NG tube and extra IV line came out this morning,,yea!! progress..This Dr now says lung colapse was not caused by tumor..so if lung heals and kidneys are fine.. she may go home on chemo..of course we are realistic and know this will only be in hopes of buying more time She is gettin an air bed delivered today and a specialist is coming to give us some tricks to help prop her in bed for comfort..

Taylor and I have talked she knows that I am willing to let her go rather than see her in pain and misery, although she knows I do not want to but I know there is a better place than here on earth but I am selfish and we are seeking all options before making a desicion.

They are putting her on a pc pump with morphine so she can control her pain herself. She will get a unit of blood today and potassium too..They are going to give her more diuretics to pull off the fluids in hopes to give her more relief. Once they are done with pulling fluids they can take foley out.she says she can not go yet she has unfinished business she has to find homes for her puppies and mom and dad and she wants to go through her things to tell people what they get.so she has to go home first..so we are making progress to get her there.. they are going to line up the special bed to be delivered as well so we got to make room for that.. so she can use it at home. and we wil have to get a wheel chair and other things to make life easier..I will also need a ramp at the house so she can go outside when she can not walk so lots to do..I have great friends who have offered to clean my house for Taylor's home coming.. and are going to help clean Tays room while she dictates to them..lol We are going to set up a medical room as well for her new air bed.If anyone wants to send her cards or gifts please do so ...Taylor Hargrove Po Box 3424 Sherman Texas 75091 she can use some cheer in her life.. please if you are reading this take the time to leave a message I am reading them to her.

She isn't definitely going home, they just said she might. I'm spending the night at the hospital tonight as dad is gonna stay at the house to take care of the animals.

We snuck Gracie into the hospital earlier so Tay could see her, the doctor said it was alright just that he would have to act like he didn't know and that we should hide her if someone tried to enter room, but all her nurses knew as well anyways lol.

ok Happy to hear she MIGHT be going home XD sorry

I bet she was happy she got to see her puppy ^.^ that would have cheered her up massively.

I know spending a night in the hospital is not a nice thing and I am proud of you for being a strong big brother for her ^.^

Try to get some rest and dont let her tease you too much lol

Spend all the time you can with your sis koby ... take care of her and show her that you love her - that is the best-est thing to have knowing that your family loves you, make her feel like that you would do anything for her, its the most comforting thing in the world....

I really cant do much but ill be sure to pray for her...Im so sorry she is going thru with all this ..

Everything went downhill again today.

She is now developing Pneumonia and her lungs are filling with fluids. Going to get another ultrasound in the morning and they are putting a chest tube in again--this time on the right side. Taylor is also having a fever, the highest so far was 100.5 degrees Fahrenheit.

She did manage to finally keep something down. She drank 3 cups of Apple juice today without throwing it back up like she had been. Unfortunately since they will be doing surgery in the morning to put the chest tube back in, they are once again back to where she will be unable to eat.
