The birth of a Nation. Its  about Nat Turner who led a slave rebellion. I can see this being one of those films they show at school during black history month. It seems odd that this film has the same name as a film from a 100 years ago.The film from a hundred years ago with the same name depicted black people as savages and the KKK as heroes and was responsible for the revival of the KKK.Prior to that movie the KKK was dead for about 30 or 40 years.

Kenshin: The Legend ends.

Really loved this trilogy. I wish they used the dub voice actors for the dub though. The movie series was really solid though, as a long time Kenshin fan it did not disappoint me.

Saw lesson of the evil on TV. It is based on a japanese novel and manga. A bit slow for the first hour but got bloody later on.

Mortal Kombat. Not sure if I want to remember how bad Annihilation was next. Saw both of these in the theater too. Ah, memories.

The Arrival. Different take on an alien movie. Some slow moments, but it comes together in the end.

Jumanji, last seen in 2010.

It has aged very well and the VFX and story don't disappoint at all. Kirsten Dunst was adorable in this movie too.

Kong Skull Island. Man it's a great time to be a kaiju fan. At least it isn't a remake of the original again. And can't wait for Legendary's take on Godzilla vs Kong in 2020.
