FF12 has to be the absolute best RPG game made to date, at the very least it is close to it... best fighting system around imo...So as not to go away from the topic...I also disliked everything that had ever come out for the PSP because the system itself sucks, so in turn, so do the games. DarkZeke Posted March 7, 2008 Report Share Posted March 7, 2008 YOu are out of your mind. FF8's Junction system was one of the best things that Square enix has come out with yet. My biggest problem with FFXII is that once you got a hang of the system it would quite literally play itself. Takes all the fun out of a game for me. No chalenge. PLus the story line wasn't even close to being on par with just about any finally fantasy they've come out with except FFVII. Seeing as FFVII was just the retelling of every single cliched story line in the world. I don't know. FFXII was just plain boring. It is fun when you make it active... you get no time to think when your fighting the super bosses... did that while i spent 4 hours straight fighting the Hellfire Wyrm boss... such a pain, but fun. Well, i liked the fighting in 8, i just disliked the storyline, and the characters... especially Squall or whatever his name was.FF13 is shaping up to be a piece of crap... WHY... what possessed them to release the story in 3 separate games, all for different systems... well... PS3, cellphone, and something else... i forget what... PSP maybe? not sure.Fighting system wise, and storyline wise, it seems like it is going to be the most unique of all the FF game thus far though, from what SE has released about it so far. OF course these are very optimistic views. I've lost all hope in the Final Fantasy name ever since FFX-2 came out and was utterly destroyed when they decided to make Advent Children.
