  1. I just got a new Western Digital 4 Terabyte My Book External Desktop Drive, did a filesystem scan and got this: Help? Fix Filesystem or Reformat?
  2. Im looking to remove the tags \an* and \pos(*.*,*.*) where * = any number, from a subtitle script. Aegisub has an automation function with a "Strip tags" option... This removes everything within the curly brackets { } for a select line, so I thought it would easy enough to modify this and get it remove the before mentioned tags. Here is the original code (for striping all the tags): local tr = aegisub.gettextscript_name = tr"Strip tags"script_description = tr"Remove all override tags from selected lines"script_author = "Thomas Goyne"script_version = "1"function strip_tags(subs, sel) for _, i in ipairs(sel) do local line = subs[i] line.text = line.text:gsub("{[^}]+}", "") subs[i] = line end aegisub.set_undo_point(tr"strip tags")endaegisub.register_macro(script_name, script_description, strip_tags)Im pretty sure the line line.text = line.text:gsub("{[^}]+}", "")is the one that needs to be modified. I tried replacing it with this for now line.text = line.text:gsub("\an5", "")Note: I used 5 as I dont know if wildcards are supported (Im sure they are) and becuase the actual tag I want removed is \an5. Unfortunately this doesn't work. The line stays unmodified after using the script through Aegisub. I haven't attempted removing \pos() yet Solution: Source
  3. Would the posting of abridged episodes of a few selected anime be allowed?? I cant see why it wouldn't, but thought I would just double check first. Edit: final verdict http://forums.kametsu.com/index.php?/topic/41332-solved-abridged-episodes-of-selected-series/?p=375849
  4. Could someone please tell me why .ass subtitles wont save to a screenshot taken within Media Player Classic?? I am using the Alt+I method to take screenshots, the subtitles are displayed on screen, but are not saved to the screenshot file? I read as a possible issue that extra codecs installed may be causing this, but I have nothing other than the default MPC x86 version installed and a modified one according to this, both of which dont show the subtitles in the screenshoted image. Solution: As I said, you have to download the archive version of xy-vsfilter and extract the .dll somewhere (preferably tapatalk's installation directory). You then open tapatalk and press O. This opens the options menu. From there you need to select 'External Filters' and hit the 'Add Filter...' button. Browse to where you extracted xy-vsfilter's .dll and select it. This will add two more external filters; untick the auto-loading version and set the other to Prefered. http://forums.kametsu.com/index.php?/topic/41527-subtitles-not-displaying-in-mpc-screenshot/?p=367808
  5. Is there a way to create just an audio patch (v2) for an mkv file? I am wanting to replace only the dub audio track within one of my releases, however when I create a patch file with xdelta (as described excellently here) the file comes to about half the size of the original (~300MB). I am a little concerned at that as the audio track on its own is only about 150MB at its largest (.mka demuxed with mkvmerge). Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated, thank you. Here is the original file (v1) : http://billionuploads.com/jc1siouompri And here is the .mka audio file that I want to patch into the original : http://billionuploads.com/hs1qp4agqtdr Solution: PS C:\Users\flower\Desktop\xdelta> ./xdelta3-3.0.8.x86-64.exe -9 -I 0 -W 16777216 -B 134217728 -v2 -e -s ../"[MK] Attack on Titan - 02 That Day, The Fall of Shiganshina, Part 2 [720p] [Hi10] [CCE58B12]_Track00.mkv" ../"[MK] Attack on Titan - 02v2 Th at Day, The Fall of Shiganshina, Part 2 [720p] [Hi10] [8ACECBBA]_Track00.mkv" patch.xdelta Thank you JohnFlower! I had to change your code a bit to suite CMD in windows but eventually managed to it work and now I understand it! This is my final code that made the patch.xdelta file: xdelta.exe -9 -I 0 -W 16777216 -B 134217728 -v2 -e -s "[MK] Attack on Titan - 02 That Day, The Fall of Shiganshina, Part 2 [720p] [Hi10] [CCE58B12].mkv" "[MK] Attack on Titan - 02v2 That Day, The Fall of Shiganshina, Part 2 [720p] [Hi10] [8ACECBBA].mkv" patch.xdeltaAnd this is the final code that patches it: xdelta.exe -d -s "[MK] Attack on Titan - 02 That Day, The Fall of Shiganshina, Part 2 [720p] [Hi10] [CCE58B12].mkv" "patch.xdelta" "[MK] Attack on Titan - 02v2 That Day, The Fall of Shiganshina, Part 2 [720p] [Hi10] [8ACECBBA].mkv"Thank you very much once again http://forums.kametsu.com/index.php?/topic/41399-xdelta-audio-patch-creation-help/?p=366372
  6. I don't mean to brag but I used to keep my age and birth hidden and now they are wide open. It is possible to change it back to hidden mode. Thanks in advance
  7. For some reason when I try to access "My Settings" or "Edit My Profile" I get an error that says; Sorry, you don't have permission for that! It's not a big deal or anything but I thought someone should know about it.
  8. I know there used to be a place before the site upgraded where you needed to post to say that you had changed your name and what you had changed it from. Do we still do that? and where is it that I put that? I went from Rei-san to Sakura Rei.
