“L'illusionniste” — Beautiful, can’t believe how much work they invested in that.

I’ve been trying to get into “Cowboy BeBop” recently, but it just seems like an inferior “Firefly” clone to me.

“London to Brighton” — watchable

Cons:
— The Lala–Ru character. Boring.
— Lame graphics
— Weak plot
Pros:
— Otherwise well developed characters
— Tough themes

Ergo Proxy episode one. Don’t know if I’m “into it” yet (the story seems a bit unoriginal), but it’s nice to see something with such lavish attention to detail, beautiful artwork and top notch sound FX.

“Alice” (Svankmejer, 1988)
6/10. Very art house, admirable for its single-mindedness, but not that pleasant nor entertaining actually, like being stuck inside an insane child’s head for a few hours.

Heh, two out of four, what do you know? Better than expected.

Let’s face it, if the mass media gave a damn about human life, they’d be reporting on the dozens of third world people the evil empire’s military industrial complex is killing every day. Of course, if they did that, the sheeple whose name it’s being done in might wake up, that’s why you only hear about natural disaster victims, storm troopers, children, and other ‘heroes’.

The King’s Speech
Dave Russell
Colin Firth
Jennifer Lawrence
Probably wrong on all counts, but that’s who I’d give it to.

Black. Still looks black when dirty, very practical.

Haven’t watched Smallville since Lex dropped out, he’d be the only reason I’d watch the finale, tbh.

Only 5 eps into Brotherhood, so far. First impressions: tighter storytelling, more background detail, music not as good so far, the extra manga expressions take a bit of getting used to.

iPod Shuffle 1st gen, 512MB version. Not much, I know, but the way I listen to music (one or two albums in order, over and over again) it suits me just fine.

Does anybody even read these kinds of threads?

Do you think cussing affects a person's vocabulary

I personally find it annoying when people use the term "cuss" rather than "curse" (or, more accurately, "swear"). It comes across as incredibly childish/boorish/puritanical.
How on earth do you expect to be taken seriously if you use baby words?
