  1. Always start on the default mode then move to hard after that. Story is usually my first priority, then a replay for challenge.
  2. I didn't even try to apply real physics *That was you*, i simply stated a lion using a keyblade is just as bout as ridiculous as a frog using one in response to you. Plus in more then one game now Sora has lost his ability to use a keyblade. So who's to say i ever pictured him using one in the first place? That was your assumption which i replied to with an honest truth about lions using one. Try in future to stop assuming and actually read what i said before making ridiculous assumptions. And just because you don't like a movie, doesn't mean everyone else does. I never liked jungle book like i said, but i am willing to accept that it garners to a different audience.
  3. Really... sword in the stone is a great land they could use :\ what a shame. Ill have to charge my PSP and check it out. Tho honestly while i know its one of the greater classics i personally never liked it, but i guess its been long enough now that i should re watch it with my new adulthood brain. Ive come to re watch a lot of movies lately and gain new respect for them, so why not this one Sherwood is the land, and the forest. Id much rather fly it around the world of Treasure Planet, the movie had a lot of great visuals, but i guess gummi flying would suffice. You really think so? I can't compare the styles at all, have you played the PS1 game of Emperors new groove, there was more then enough unique locations, and the thought of Sora riding through Yzma's secret access tunnels could make for a great minigame. I'd have to agree if not for the fact that they put in Pirates of the Caribbean. I really added this in because i cant see them not doing it, Tron legacy is their new trilogy and they'd be trying to push it in every form of media. What better then a multi million selling franchise? And the gap in time could easily be explained, computers evolve faster then humans, Moore's law. Like i said tho, I'm not pushing for this world, or even like the idea, but i cant see Disney passing up the opportunity. Like a lion using a Keyblade makes any more sense And Princess & the frog wasn't that terrible, i admit the first 20-30 minutes were absolute crap and i was denouncing this movie every chance i got, my girlfriend can attest to that, but when i came into my lounge room one night and it was about 30 minutes in i sat down and watched the rest, it actually becomes an alright story. And the voodoo side of the movie with the evil shadows would fit within the KH universe.
  4. He has exactly the same chance as every other Final Fantasy character. I would like to see some final fantasy worlds tho... But as for them running out of Disney worlds, I don't think so, even tho many of the classics have been done there is still alot of movies they havent touched not to mention new ones that i would love to see. Classics they could visit: Sword in the Stone Merlin is just screaming out for a return to his world. Jungle Book Although personally i hate the movie, the kind of movie it is definatley lends itself to the adventure. Robin Hood Why not visit the fox and help save sherwood? Pocahontas While i don't really have a like for this movie, it would still fit. Newer movies they could use: Treasure Planet. The idea of flying around on the solar surfer is enough to make me want this world. The Emperors New Groove I think Yzma's antics lend themselves perfectly and the use of her magic potions could cause sora and the gang a whole heap of trouble. Wall-E I think the characters from Wall-E would be great. Tangled I can already imagine a frying pan keyblade. Tron Legacy Don't really think it should be done, but its logical to assume they will be using Kingdom Hearts to try and promote the Tron Legacy Trillogy they hope to complete. Princess & the Frog Frog sora anyone? Who can't see this happening? So yeah.... considering all those movies they could use, and about 30 others i havent watched how are they running out of disney worlds? o.O Oh not to forget sequels to the movies and even going back to the world of other summons from the first game like dumbo and bambi, tho those were pretty dark movies if you think about it.
  5. I place 99.9% of the blame on the parents, in Australia a recent study was done on underage drinking, something like 10% of the parents were willing to come get their drunken children, while the other % were quite content with letting their kids run around the streets at 3am in the morning terrorising the neighbourhood. They would rather let the police talk to their children rather then try and guide them into adulthood themselves.
  6. I still don't really understand what Crysis has to offer. I still can't play past the first game because i find myself so utterly bored. Then again i find myself bored in alot of modern FPS games. They just don't seem to be adding anything new or exciting.
  7. I have had a 360 and Wii since both were released, i waited a long time (November 2010) till i actually got my PS3, but i had used the PS3 before for 3 or so games. While i don't really like to compare systems, my personal favourite will always be: Drum roll: None of them. They both suffer from the same regurgitation that is nothing but a cut paste of game mechanics of the last generation. Right now my least favourite has to be PS3 tho, not because of the actual system, but because of Sony's attitude about it. If you don't know anything about it research the current state of PS3 hacking. The PS3 held the longest record in history for a game console not to be hacked. Something like 4-5 years. And now that they are finally being hit by the hack wave they are taking the route of wounded puppy, while the whole time they have done nothing but cheer for the fact that 360 and Wii have been losing money. When the shoe hit the other foot they have been doing nothing but sending their flunkies out into the interwebs to try and piss on the rights of consumers. They basicly think even tho i own my console, that they have the right to say what i do with it. Im a supporter of homebrew, yet they quickly showed us that they think of us as nothing more then dirty hackers who think stealing is the way of the world. Ive not pirated a game to my PS3 Wii or Xbox to this date. Yet even i have been labeled a pirate simply for installing custom firmware that lets me play and develop homebrew applications for hardware i own. It's the same thing as calling anyone who owns a gun a murderer. Yes their are those out there who would use these advancments for wrong doing, but at the end of the day, their attitude towards the scene has shown nothing but disrespect for there loyal customers that were sick of there restrictions. Probably just rambling now, but what did sony expect, they sent a clear message to PS3 owner that they don't trust them when they decided to remove OtherOS. This enraged there hardcore consumers and they brought this eventual predicament onto themselves. Removing Linux made them a target for hackers, Dev's and pirates alike.
  8. As a massive fan of the first game ive been waiting for a long while for TDU2 to finally be released, and now that it's out and ive had the chance to play it... alls i can say is.... wow... how do you mess up this bad. The games major flaw is the controls. While they try to offer 3 way's to play they don't actually get any of them right. Full assist: Basicly the baby mode for people who have never played a racer before. Sport: A kind of in between, it offers some driving assist while trying to leave most of the control up to you. And finally Hardcore, for assumingly hardcore racing game players. But this falls so flat it's not even funny, a single tap of the steering and your car pretty much jumps to its next angle instead of a smooth change. This is by far the most annoying thing about TDU2, even on low sensitivity it still jumps a good 1cm even from the smallest tap. Talk about no precision. (And yes it is like that in every racing mode, no matter what your racing style is) My other major gripe is the graphics, while the cars look amazing the second a race starts all the graphics are down sampled into something i can only explain as last gen visuals. Another gripe is the terrible story. You start out as 1 of 6 characters of your choice. A male or Female choice is presented for the following people: White, Black, Asian. But it doesn't really matter who you choose, your still going to have to deal with the most annoying chick ive ever seen in a video game. The characters are lifeless and say things that no normal human being would ever say because its just plain stupid. My opinion is based off of finishing the PS3 version, and messing around on the PC version with my 360 controller. Both versions have little difference. And im seriously dissapointed in this game, almost more dissapointed then i was when i found out Square-Enix is making another FF13. What do you guy's think about the game? do you love it? Or are you as disgraced as i am to be a fan who waited this long only to be presented crap to play with. Also, shame on IGN, they touted this as the next big thing since sliced bread.
  9. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. So much better then the original version. I can see why they had to mess with the story, but when it comes down to it brotherhood is just plain better. Everything makes more sense. But i don't think the bonding is as good in brotherhood, im glad i watched the original anime first because if i hadn't i probably wouldnt care so much about the characters.

    Favorite Anime

DevilMan, not because i think it's the best, it was just literally the first dark anime i ever watched, and i was only 12 or so at the time. I loved the gore. xD Shortly after i followed on with things like Ninja Scroll (movie) Akira, Neon Genesis Evangelion. My favorite recent anime is Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. The old series would have been my favorite, but brotherhood is an enormous improvement. Tho it pains me to see how many people love Naruto & Bleach these day's. I will admit ive only really tried to watch the dubbed versions, but i can't really see anything promising from these as far as story goes.

    G'day

Good to see another aussie on here. It's also nice to see you hate those mainstream animes. Or atleast dislike that it's what alot of people swear by. I feel they don't really have anything to offer unless your of about 12 years of age. xD Anyway see ya around
  12. Hey everyone I'm new to the forum. Some things about me: I'm 21 and am from Australia. I'm very picky when it comes to anime. Some i like include: Neon Genensis Evangelion (The only Mecha anime i can stand) Full Metal Alchemist + Brotherhood (going through it now) Trinity Blood (Wish there was alot more :\) DevilMan (Dark but oh so good) I have many problems with anime but the main one is perv shots. Those are when in your humble anime the animaters add a view shot, scene or character who is literally only there so that teenage boys .... well you know what i mean. It plain out ruins alot of stuff for me. Even Evan Genesis and Full Metal can be acused of this at some points. Even the humble Dragon Ball had a scene like that. Anyway so theres just a couple of things that you can start to get to know me from. See you round the forums where we can get to know each others likes and dislikes.
