My favorite is definitely rock preferably from the 90s.
-
My top five favorite bands/musicians are Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, and--I'll have to think about that 5th one.
-
The Kara no Kyoukai movies have a pretty good soundtrack and so does FLCL. I don't really pay that much attention to the music in anime. There are some pretty awesome opening and ending songs, though.

I wish Baccano! would get a new season or remake, but it'll probably remain without. It'd also be awesome to see another season of Ghost Hunt, but I'm not counting on it. I'm waiting on a new season of Haruhi, Angel Beats!, and Durarara!!. I'm also excited for the Mirai Nikki anime.

Baccano! is my favorite. It's unfortunate that the series bombed in Japan, because it strayed too far from the source material. It'd be nice to see all the novels animated or simply all of the books translated to English.

Little Nemo is most likely the very first one I ever saw. Pokemon, Digimon, and the different series that aired on television got me hooked. I think the Tenchi series is what got me into manga, but I'm not sure.

How long an anime should be really depends on what the series is about and how many good ideas they have for it. I prefer an anime to be longer (like 50-100 episodes), but most series I've really enjoyed have been about 12 to 26 episodes long.

Today I played Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and Postal 2. I think I'm gonna go play Pokemon, too.
-
3 is probably my average, but there are days where I marathon an anime I really like. It depends on my mood.
-
I believe the last manga I read was Kamisama Dolls. I wanted to get ahead of the anime, but the translated chapters didn't reach far past the anime. Before that was Uzumaki; I love the art for it.
-
I'm only at 1,422 episodes.
-
My favorite genres are action and supernatural. I'd like horror if they could pull it off, but I have yet to see that done in anime form.
-
I'd have to go with Baccano!, because it's pretty fucking awesome and funny!

Baccano!, Angel Beats!, Yu Yu Hakusho, Ghost Hound, and Gurren Lagann in that order.

2011 Hunter x Hunter Anime to Retell Story From Start
The upcoming television anime adaptation of the Hunter X Hunter manga will have a new staff and cast compared to the 1999-2001 television anime, and it will retell the story from the manga from the beginning. The “definitive” new anime will premiere on NTV on October 2 and run every Sunday at 10:55 a.m. NTV opened a web page for the new anime.
Hiroshi Koujina (Rainbow – Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin, Neuro – Supernatural Detective) will direct the anime at MADHOUSE (Death Note, NANA), and Jun Maekawa (Dragon Ball Z, Fresh Precure!) is in charge of the scripts. Takahiro Yoshimatsu (“Something Yoshimatsu” of Future GPX Cyber Formula, Slayers) is designing the characters, while Toshio Nakatani is producing. The cast is slated to be announced later.
The manga has sold 52 million copies, and Yoshihiro Togashi will resume the manga in the combined 35/36th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine next Monday. The 29th compiled book volume (pictured right) of the manga is shipping on Thursday.

Dude, this is pretty awesome news! Hopefully it gets a nice budget, and little to no filler episodes unless they can pull them off.

I haven't seen that many, but of what I have seen so far my favorite would be Metropolis. It's pretty fun and has a decent story. The combination of CGI and animation looks pretty sweet at times.

I'm one to believe that this is the only form of existence we'll ever know, and although it is unfortunate, I find myself more concerned with how far humanity will get. It's a lot more depressing to imagine our species being weeded out through natural selection than it is to consider that there might not be any form of an afterlife.

Either can be better than the other. It really depends on how the story is executed. There is a larger variety of manga and the censorship is pretty lax comparatively, but being animated is a huge bonus, too.

Leon: The Professional
Fuck yeah! Definitely one of my favorites.
Id have to say personally my favorite movie of all time is TheCrow. It doesn't make my top, but it is a great movie.
My favorites movies are The Silence of the Lambs, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, The Professional, and A Clockwork Orange.
-
Clannad, Black Butler, and The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya are the only ones that come to mind. I don't often find myself hating an anime series/movie. There are plenty that I don't find interesting, though.
-
My favorites would have to be Ghost Hound, Serial Experiments Lain, and Ghost Hunt. Although, they're not scary or anything. I've never watched a single horror anime series that could qualify as unnerving much less eerie.
When it comes to horror manga Uzumaki by Junji Ito is great.

Junji Ito is good at what he does, and I highly recommend checking out his work.

I really don't believe there's an age limit for enjoying anime. It's no worse or better than watching any other type of fictional series/movie.
On a slightly different note, I've noticed that with age it's become increasingly difficult to find anime that can really catch my attention.

Episode 3 of Durarara!!
-
I'm usually fine with fanservice so long as it's not the main focus of the series.
Who here has played a visual novel?

I've played two I think. Neither of 'em are really worth mentioning. I want to play Melty Blood, though. VN + fighting game sounds great.
