  1. Awe, I already had Thanksgiving. So no more turkey... And I dont really call Halloween a holiday if noone gets time off for it

Oh yes, I forgot that Canadian Thanksgiving is earlier than American Thanksgiving. If I could, I'd share some with you when it happens. More often than not we have a lot of leftovers.

  2. I've never liked the saying "happy holidays". I've always associated it with people who are afraid to say, "Merry Christmas" but don't want to insult people who don't celebrate. I always thought that was silly...

But, Happy Halloween. Soon it'll be Thanksgiving and we can stuff our faces with even more delicious food. :D

  3. I don't have any calenders and I don't think I've had a proper one for years. By "proper" I mean, not only an electronic device.

As for pictures...yeah, no, I'm not a fan of them being taken of me. I don't think I'm very photogenic and because of that have a strong hatred towards my photo being taken.

  4. People who decide that they are not going to spell things properly (u r teh stoopid).

    Weeaboos. Just...weeaboos.

    Korean fangirls/boys. Just...Korean fangirls/boys.

People who sneeze with their mouth open. Come on, now, it's not hard to cover your mouth with your arm, is it?

  5. I agree with Kro on the thread issue. A lot of the threads that I've seen are serious (which I usually stay out of unless something is obviously wrong and I feel they need to be set straight), threads about favorite/best characters or are only about One Piece, Naruto, or Bleach (which I really don't like), or they're uploads. I'm not saying that any of that is bad, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. And, yes, we could make those threads, but if the rest of the community isn't interested in what the thread is about, then there isn't much point to it anyway. Or, the discussions happen through VMs or PMs (Minecraft, for exmaple. I think I've talked more about Minecraft off the threads than on).

  6. Ohhh buddy. XD

I always thought light eyes and dark hair was a neat combination. It's something that I always considered to be unique. That's why I'm proud to have blue eyes, brown hair, and relatively fair skin.

Ah, yes, I like lighter eyes with darker hair, although I do think very blond hair looks good with very light-blue eyes.

  7. Sounds interesting, I have never used texture packs but I might as well give them a go.

On another note does anyone here host there own server, im having connection problems with mine. If not, im sure I can figure it out myself in time.

When using texture packs, keep in mind that you have to watch your game to use anything above a 16x texture pack, and that anything larger is going to slow down the performance of your game. So if you already have a low framerate, don't use high resolution texture packs.

As for servers, nah, don't know anywhere, but I'm sure the forums could help. Either they have a list of places or some people who can tell you.

@Sorceress Yuri - What's Fusioncraft like? I'd love to find a server to play on.

  8. Skype parties sound good in theory, but are even more bandwidth intensive than the CB. In my case, I have Kametsu open in the browser on my smaller secondary screen, while I have Youtube or whatever open on my main screen. This means, I can devote a little bit of attention to Kametsu, while focusing on what I'm mainly doing. If I see a CB message that looks interesting, I'll drop in and say hey. Same thing I'll be doing with the IM replacement hopefully, an informal system where you can just drop in and say whatever, whereas (for me at least) forum posts are a bit more formal, have to be more thought out and better constructed. What I say in the Chatbox I would never say in the forums.

Haha, just a suggestion is all. They are quite bandwidth heavy. Painful for trying to play something and having a party.

  9. By the way, message for everybody else. Anyone know of a different IM method we could all use in the meantime. I've heard of IRC, but have never used it. Perhaps someone could show me how to set one up and we could all use it during the week?

I believe Uji had already set up an IRC for here, but I'm not entirely sure if that's true or not. I think Shazi has mentioned various MSN parties, and I'm sure someone could have a Skype party (which would probably be better, since the people who might want to use their microphones can, while others type).

  10. Hey "twinArmageddons", quit harassing Koby. It's his site, and he may do with it as he wishes. And Koby, good move, I can't tell you how many times I've hopped onto the site here to find people arguing in the chatbox at the top of the page.

Where did you get that I was harassing him? If you bothered to read my first comment you'd see that I condone this. I wasn't harassing, I stating that people spamming to get access to a chatbox happens often, not that what he decided to do was wrong in any way.

And yes, I do realize I don't make it blatantly obvious that I condone it. I often have trouble making things more obvious than I do.

(So we don't spam this thread, if you want to continue, PM me.)

  11. As for your point about spamming to 500. That's kind of unreasonable. Why would anyone bother spamming only to gain access to a CB which isn't even the point of the forum anyhow and would likely be removed or the activity requirement removed by the time they reached the point?

Oh, believe me, that happens more often than one would think. While it's not the point of the site, it's most certainly something people like. As an example, I'll take the board that I had moderated for awhile. To get to the chat, you had to have 15 posts. Every time there was a new member, they would spam the hell out of the forums just to get those 15 posts so they could join in on the chatbox. People like immediate gratification, so the chatbox is perfect for that.

  12. Money and Graphic Power aside. I will always have more fun on a console. I like to go to a friends place have a game of halo, fifa or need for speed and have a good time. But you cant do that with a PC...well u can, spend half an hour sorting all the cables, getting extension cords and power boards....Yep console more fun :)

I've been gaming on the PC for many, many years. My keyboard alone has 4 cords. Never once have I spent 30 minutes, or even 20 setting my computer up, even after unplugging everything and moving locations. Never had to use an extension cord and the only reason I've got a power strip is for my lamps. So I'm not entirely sure where you're getting that from, unless you're physically or mentally slow when it comes to more than a few cords.

  13. It is for now, but they may start charging money if the beta is good enough and all

The only thing that will cost money are things in the item store (like most free MMOs, especially ones that are Eastern developed), not the actual game and/or patches.
