  1. I work as a cook though I'm more sociable. However I do agree that yelling at cooks is quite common. Sometimes my managers will misplace orders that I've made, or we're busy and I ask a waitress to make a salad for me but they don't get to it. I myself personally have issues with my pride, as I don't like to ask for help very much. Like in my case today, during superbowl; I started to get swamped with tickets and somewhere along the line I lost two of my salad tickets that I gave to a waitress, my managers starts to get a little nippy and finally my salads reappear. In the end I ended up punching my palm because that's what I do at work to relieve my anger. Only done that two or three times now because of the people I work with. I would try to focus on that GED that EO mentioned. Minimum wage will not suffice in our world anymore, if you have to a part time job should only be keeping you afloat while you pursue education (i.e. food and necessary utility bills.) . I mean it can if you can find a sugar daddy but that is stupid to assume that you will, I sure as hell don't want my girlfriend to pay for everything for me because she's "loaded". I wouldn't feel like I earned it through my own hard work.
  2. Ew. Rofl, I'm not a super hygiene freak, but I do have some ethics and normal moral codes that prevent me from being unhygenic. (Dear god, that reminds me of the kid in my AP Computer Science Class... He does not bathe, at all; and all of us suffocate in our classroom because of his horrific stench. You can tell he doesn't shower because he doesn't wear different pants [you see mud stains all up his pant legs, DRIED MUD MIND YOU.]) Ugh. I don't really urinate in the shower unless the water's running, and I just have an issue with using public and bathrooms that are outside of my household. Bathrooms are the holiest of places, the most PRIVATE areas possible, but when it's not in your own home - it feels like it's outside of my comfort ability. Like, I just can't go #2 in my friend's house. Hell, sometimes I don't like using the bathroom when I have other people over... it just doesn't feel "private".
  3. I hooked up at a pizza parlor that my brother worked at for about a year. I've been there for six months now, as of 2012 - minimum wage went up; on top of that, I was recently given a raise for my outstanding dedication (on top of the fact that I'm one of the more capable members of my Hoagy Station at the pizzaria). Sometimes its a pain working fast food but I find it fairly interesting, it's not complicated or anything, but it does put a little mental stress on you for awhile until you can become comfortable with it. So far the things I've done: burned spaghetti pots, set one of our oil fryers on fire (left it on while I started to clean out the oil), doofed a few orders here and there (that was more in my beginning month or two of work). I'm considered a veteran now since I made it beyond 2 months without quitting or showing lack of skill. Fast foods will kill you because they are a hit or miss. You either are good, or you're not. That's my two cents. I work with two underclassmen from my school; it drives me incredibly furious at how scatterbrained the two are. One girl cannot absolutely do anything unless she is intensely focused on ONE thing, blind and unobservant of the surroundings around her, and the other is a guy who is the stereotypical "I'm going to go into work and half ass everything to get my pay." Part time or full time, a job is serious business; do what you're expected to do because you're being paid, being paid is the incentive and motivation, not doing that in my opinion forfeits your ability to even be considered for raises or praise. ---- Edit: Like Shazi noted, I hear eye contact in interviews are key, holidays are even a good time to find small part time jobs. In my case, I was hired on the spot as a temporary part timer, which eventually turned into a complete part time job because I completed training at an expedited date. (I was trained to close the store before I was even fully capable of making pasta tickets...).
  4. Imho the monster taming is quite silly. That's like, a Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest exclusive (and like all good gamers who've paid attention to history and the origin of Square Enix, know that Squaresoft and Enix were too separate companies making competing RPGs at a time long ago (Squaresoft with Final Fantasies, and Enix with Dragon Quest). I'm just not digging it. They need something like the first 9 games. Or hell, remake the first nine for current Gen Systems. They'll sell like hotcakes, though I'm not sure if its worth investing in.
  5. Now to follow up on this, we assume there there is only ONE answer, as in some cases it will be stated that a specific multiple choice has multiple correct answers. Regardless, we assume there is only one answer because it does not state that there are multiple answers. Otherwise, it's not our fault for an incorrect answer, but the tester lacked in providing fair question.
  6. I'm interested in Ron Paul because of his character and policies. Though however, I haven't really seen much wrong with Barack Obama and with you Laugh, I don't really like either of Gringrich or Romney. To me, Ron Paul is like - if this guy wins, something seriously will change in the U.S. and my money is on it coming out of my own wallet, just like any other President. Anyways, At least have a somewhat pronounceable name when they go into office. There's no way in hell I'm going to even bother saying "President Newt Gringrich" or "President Mitt Romney". To me, those aren't really respectable names; but rather silly stupid nicknames. (Btw, Gringrich shouldn't even bother imho, personally - his marriage issues? Uh, not that I'm picking on Bill Clinton, but I'd rather the news not be full of stupid stories about him hitting on [insert Name of Now Popular Female].) Definitely with Koby on this one, I'd vote for Obama for another term just to keep all the others out.
  7. LMFAO, I can't swim either. I'm fine in water, but when my head goes under water - nope; I'm dead. Hm. I do urinate in the shower consistently... on a regular basis, though I don't have any kind of safety mats in my bath tub considering 1) I have an unusual habit of sitting down in the shower, even if sitting is incorrect in operating the shower (where it's like 3x3feet cubicle) and 2) I generally don't need to go #2 prior to shower. My body makes it a habit I suppose since my bladder is use to emptying at regular time periods. Not quite sure how you guys have mats, tiles, and whatnot changing colors... though it may have something to do with your diet considering the acidity or whatever is altering basic plastic? @EO q_q I don't really understand women sometimes. If I were a girl, I'd get extremely annoyed every time I have urine running down my thigh/leg - be it on the toilet or in the shower, though at least in the shower you're cleaning yourself but anywhere else, I'd feel unhygienic as a female. Spring-boarding off of this real quick: Does anyone have an issue with using bathrooms besides your own places? I tend not to use public restrooms unless I know that my body wants the "waste" OUT of my body, immediately. Otherwise I'll like hold my bladder until I get home (be it 5-15 minutes).
  8. I read somewhere the X360 "Was" going to be 3 discs alike it's first-part but I think it was Koby that mentioned the game is more "action sequence" rather than Cinematics which allowed it to be devoid of all the excess data. Either way I'm not very impressed with the Demo at all because (and from what I know) that you only have two characters, the story is really... it's really shady in regards to Noel because it's not like part one where the group is sent off on an adventure, I'm actually looking forward to the other part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis concerning Noctis.
  9. Yeah Drumroll, I own the HD Collection - for any price under $40 it's a steal, HD Collection is 2,3 & Peacewalker. Would've been amazing if 1 was in there (recently found another copy of 1 in a DVD Case with the Foxhound Emblem on the back of the case, quite odd considering it's a PS1 game in a DVD/PS2 Case, definitely one of my games that'll never be opened considering I found it for $1 at a nearby super computer store.) As per Rising, I might wait on a price drop (I actually haven't gotten MGS4 yet, it's been out for a few years now...) I've bought way too many games this past christmas season and I'm trying to set aside money haha, it's just not one of my top priority games this year compared to such like RE:ORC and 6 at the end of the year.
  10. I've beaten both TC1 and TC:SO; If you want hard, DS versions will always be harder than a Wii Counterpart imho (I played Second Opinion, it was much easier than the DS Version - be it a nerf or not to make the game play enjoyable, but I found that my Wiimote accuracy is way better than my simple hand-touch accuracy.) I hear Trauma Team is simpler as a result of renewing the series midway (It's not very unheard of for people to go ??? Trauma Center? What's that?) so I think they down'd the difficulty in TT, haven't played it but I do want to simply for the story since it has a character from SO in it. I also own TC2 but I haven't really gotten around to playing it - must be because you don't really play as Derek Stiles much since he's aged a few years(?).
  11. Pssssssssh. Easily Hunk from Resident Evil imho. Who else can perform Neck-breakers and not wander too far from the mission?
  12. Critiques are appreciated! I like D: the second to last one /slur Maybe it's just my taste in art because I'm a weirdie.
  13. *Drools* Haha, I love you two! <3<3<3. I like yours J-Lord, The red does add to the depth and I think it somewhat resembles a play on Resident Evil's primary colour choices (Most dominantly being Black/Red/White). x) I'll honestly use it as my new header for my timeline on facebook xD Then everybody can know how much of a mancrush on have on HUNK. I'll use Poe's siggy for here because I like it being blunt:3
  14. Well, I've had this signature for a long time now but I'd like to request a new one :3 and I have the perfect subject for it too considering I like dark, dreary, black/grey/white for some reason when it comes to signatures. What tis the subject? Well hopefully one of our dearest artists here at Kametsu has a crush equal to my mancrush on the one and only H.U.N.K. Text (What you want it to say): "This is war; survival is your responsibility..." (Well lol, what I'm imagining in my head looks like this, boldened, italicized, and underlined like so.) Sub-Text (Other text): - Kasoivc (Off in the corner or something :3) Size:450x180 Seems to be a nice playing field, or 350x180 - It's whatever the artists feels best at. Images (Links Appreciated, we cannot offer to find images for you): http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/4861/rerhunk.gif http://cdn.gamerant.com/wp-content/uploads/Resident-Evil-Operation-Raccoon-City-Hunk.jpg http://www.airbornegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/hunk.jpg <-- I do like how HUNK Looks friggen Beast in Revelations. http://www.relyonhorror.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/hunk.jpg <-- Something like this is even great imho considering it has (Japanese?) Above Hunk, and the borders are appealing (at least in my opinion) Actually, that one's a unique one tbh. Though I think that one could've benefitted from a background accustom to the places Hunk explored within his story concerning his mission in Raccoon City. Color Scheme: Any works (Prefer dark) Kind of Graphic: Signature Things to Avoid: Other Comments: Dunno really, just wanted to see what our artists could stir up I've been using Shiki for way too long now, I think it's good to change it up a little.
  15. I've been trying for catfish lol, they're easy and fun to catch and I always go during early mornings or late evenings when they come up near the banks but the ponds around here are just blegh. I really do need to go out of state to go fishing; I went to a park in Kentucky during mid-day but I probably didn't catch anything because all the fish were asleep since it was noon-ish. I like the challenge of reeling them in; it's just I haven't gotten a chance to yet.
  16. I like fishing, but most of the ponds around here are all rubbish. My brother has heard of some place called Catfish Paradise up in Northern Ohio but mostly around Cincinnati here, there's like nothing to be caught. That or I just plain suck at fishing. I mean I like it, it's a peaceful activity, but god - I'd like to catch something for once, even if it is a small baby blue gill or something.
  17. This is essentially truth. It's not their there's bias or anything in the U.S., its just lack of interest. I would say at least 20% (That's being generous) of the population has heard of anime, and even less are regular everyday anime-viewers; even much more less of those viewers cosplay. Truth be told, not many people watch it on tv - which is why anime streaming sites do so well, as well as fansubbers that pick up series as projects. You "might" find what you want to watch on regular television, or you can just go download exactly what you want. Decisions Decisions? No that's just stupid, you'd go download/stream exactly what you want to watch and call it a day.
  18. Lmao Mute. I lol'd hard reading your signature. This actually sounds fun so I'll have to get on this when I'm not sick x) because right now I sound all deep and nasally... The nasally part is a major nuisance to me.
  19. Yeah, I guess bloat would be the right way to describe it. It's just so annoying in my opinion. Do people not get into their opinions anymore? If I post about liking/disliking a game or an anime series, I state the reasons why I do/do not like it. At least I have material that can possibly "provoke" someone else into engaging conversation, but people these days don't really understand the concept of a "forum" or "discussion."
  20. 3, 4, 5. I joined like, a year ago I think, actually; I might've joined a little earlier than that. I don't remember. I was just looking for a anime/video gaming forum - bam, ended up here in one google search. It's amazing how much traffic we get for downloads by itself compared to the relatively "small" (in my opinion) *regular* user base. Off the top of my head, I could name about 20-30 users that I see here on a weekly basis, compared to the hundreds of randoms that have the 5-10 posts required to access downloads. I don't know why I keep coming back since oftentimes the discussions that I engage in are lacking; i.e. http://forums.kametsu.com/showthread.php?t=24769 http://forums.kametsu.com/showthread.php?t=29822 http://forums.kametsu.com/showthread.php?t=32374 Dear god. Look at some of the lengthier posts, compare them to the shorter ones. It takes you maybe 20 seconds tops to read through others, and then mine, and a few others have at least 30-60 second posts, that took us a little longer than a 3 minutes to probably think and type. I came here for those 3+ minute posts/30 second reads.
  21. I think the sole reason VC2 sold so poorly compared to VC1 is primarily because of the decision to make VC2 a PSP title. My brother bought VC1 and loves it to death, even watched the anime adaption - but refuses to buy VC2 because he's just not a fan of portable game devices (even though we do own a PSP). It's just preference. A lot of people most likely own a PS3, but only a handful of people on top of them own "BOTH" a PS3 and a PSP.
  22. Got it, haha. I'll probably be playing this mostly during school in my free time. For a relatively simple game, its a easy way to burn hours of your life to be honest. I've only played the first one on my xbox several times and I know I've put away at least 12 hours into the game.
  23. DONUTS!? WHAR!? Lol, Tifa and Cloud. I thought it was a cute picture to have as a display picture. 7/10 seems pretty solid for the Battousai.
