  1. Yeah. Sadly I don't have a computer to play Skyrim with effectively but on consoles owned horses will show up with you at outside fast travels (they won't follow you into the main cities obviously). And like everyone else, Shadowmere is just a complete b/a. Nuff'said rofl.
  2. I'm positive a PS3 release of VC2 will make the series skyrocket again. Like I said, only a handful of people own both a PS3 and some kind of PSP portable device. The game is great, I love RTS; my brother loves the game for its story, but I rarely game on the go, as well as my brother - so a full screen PS3 version of it is what we'd prefer.
  3. 8/10 Has always been a good enough score for me. I used to be a nut for 10/10, 100%, A++, but not anymore. If I really want to make a 10/10, all I need is a 9.1/10,90.5%+, to have an "A" on my transcripts. I learned the long and stupid way that people higher up don't care much in the education business whether or not you have a 90.5% or a 100%, you still have an A and are catagorized as a "honor student." The only time details like that are mentioned is when they try to bloat it up and brag about it, like you did that much more. In scoring for other things like video games and movies, I find that 7/10 is satisfactory, 8/10 is good, 9 is great, and 10 as Koby put it - perfection. It's rare for myself to place things below 7/10 unless the concept of the movie or game seemed to be incredulously stupid.
  4. This probably makes a few of us left side brain people. That's the more logical/organized part of the brain I think? I also have to organize my numbers by either 2's or 5's. Carrying anything else in other amounts disturbs me very much. I also have a habit of keeping my wallet filled with about $20 at ALL times. I feel like if I don't have money in my wallet, then I'm poor - regardless if whether or not I have $500+ in my bank account.
  5. Aw. Dart sounds like a Keeper Making you dinner and retrieving your laptop I'm tired as well, Of my four day weekend, I closed at work three o the four nights, and now I skip school in the next few hours to make up for the lack of a weekend, and to buy time to finish all my assignments. Money money money~ Can't wait to see how much I was given a rise for X3
  6. Holy crap @_@ This thread has some age to it! I currently don't have a ride, but I'm looking into finding myself a Honda Accord or a relatively new Civic. My dream cars are either the 89' Honda Accord Lxi or more obviously the AE86 i.e. Toyota make. Flip ups are my weakness, but something to suffice until then will do me just fine. Oh, manual all the way. I refuse to make my daily drive a automatic rofl.
  7. Doh, you all need to explain imho. There's almost no point in posting without explaining your stance. I've smoked marijuana a handful of times, no harm other than me being paranoid the first few occasions. /shrugs. Now I smoke tobacco and I don't even have to share it with others to feel good. (That's really why I don't smoke "weed", I just don't feel it being worth paying an assload for a week's worth when I can make a single pack of cigarettes last a month.)

    Diablo 3

What? Q2 = Summer right? I heard it was supposed to come out sometime in the fall. People have been telling me the closed beta that was being offered was fun and I've played the past two, they're both enjoyable. However I don't want to dump a full $60 into this game imho. It's good, but not worth full $60. Almost no game these days is worth paying full price anymore, I get mine mostly from others as secondhand/played very few times.
  9. I think he means child development. Of course we all watched anime when we were about ten. I started when I was six with Toonami. Tenchi Muyo was da shit in my childhood. However most forum users that are around that preteen age haven't developed their online communication skills... And I'd have to admit, preteens tend to have a very small attention span. Then again you have oddballs like me who were typing accurately and faster than college graduates at the time... /shrugs. I'm 18.5y/o. Dedicated two thirds of my life to video games and anime, and even found a girlfriend that's equally devoted to vg's/anime and our relationship. I'm a little younger than a few of our other forum regulars.
  10. Egh. Not really, Dan already noted fast foods are a nono; the only reason I can stomach working at a Pizzaria is because I'm well-knowledgeable about the operation of our business in terms of how to prepare and bag everything. Fast food joints are a hit or miss, and judging from regular characteristics of someone - it's easy to tell who will be bad at the job. I was hired, and as all newbies are - they're trained on the spot, washout period being the first week or two. I got to keep my job because one of the few guys who were there already was fired because he just wasn't up to snuff. You can't take nine hours making one order when by the end of the night you have a total of 450+ (and those are combinations of pizza, salads, spaghettis, and hoagies) not just generic pizza and two liter of soda. Like I said before, some people aren't really supposed to work at fast food joints, we cycle through new people like every two months because they're just looking for a quick paycheck or two. It's frusterating working with people who have no clue what they're doing. I don't mind answering quick questions about how certain orders are made but when you've been there for longer than a few weeks and the only thing you can do is slowly recognize orders, than we have issues - especially on busy weekends. In fact, we're preparing for Lent soon and fish is going to be a pain since it takes 4 minutes for us to fry one fish. Libraries around here, usually dominated by old ladies. Tutors - my school doesn't pay students to be tutors, rather it's part of a academic excellence program, it just looks good on your transcript for college.
  11. Haha. You did =) Don't worry lol, I did that too when I was telling my girlfriend happy anniversary =P Lol. She called me silly after I went nutz about how I suddenly realized what I typed

  12. Eh? xD You mean Happy Valentines? :) Lol, my birthday is September 27, '93 ;P Haha.

  13. No... Dear God No. By "opening up new possibilities", you mean "Horrible spin offs" then yes. The story plot to these will be completely whack in my opinion trying to make it work with the original series, and even if this is a complete spin-off/alternate universe kind of timeline... no, that's just completely stupid. As a fan of TWEWY, I'd like it to be unmolested by popular franchises/series. I would prefer a TWEWY-based spinoff, solely on the TWEWY world rather than try to mesh it with the "ever-popular" Kingdom Hearts. Don't get me wrong, I liked the story of KH, but when you have little boys and girls running around screaming "I love Neku!" or "No! Riku is the best over Sora and Neku combined" I'll have to polish and load my shotgun. The only reason this is even considered a possibility by Sqenix is because TWEWY operates in a real-world and alternate world, compared to KH where there is somewhat multiple realities going 'on. The aspect of Paradox ensues.
  14. After the 36-hour mark I start to get drowsy and tired regardless of what I'm doing. I'm getting older now, I can't function on all nighters anymore, haha. I've managed 72 hours before (I could absolutely not sleep during my first anime convention) and that was pretty bad, though I was younger so I think my body was just getting used to those kinds of hours. If I lay down anywhere, or stay still long enough I'll fall asleep on the spot. Some of my friends have told me I apparently sleep in class with my eyes open as well; I know I can sleep while standing because I've done it on numerous occasions at school.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPScTKv4_Jc Whelp, been watching this for awhile and it's got me hooked (I generally don't watch kDramas, especially not hour-long episodes of anything, but this is interesting enough to me). I'm currently watching it on Hulu whenever it wants to cooperate with me and I won't lie, it's something I'd watch before I'd go to bed. The characters aren't all that bad; most of the cast seems well developed and you have various flashbacks from time to time that thoroughly explain the cause of "xx" to bring about "xx" result. The show is at least a 7/8 out of 10 for me so far. Minimal Spoiler Synopsis (Of first episode and general understanding). Basically, A young prince of Korea seeks to free his country of China's rule over them; but a clan working against Korea's royal family catches him in the act - so for the prince to live he must sacrifice his right hand man. The man agrees to his execution as a scapegoat but asks of his friend, the man that the king dubbed as their country's Sword Master, to save his wife and child. The child, Baek Dong Soo, grows up to be a warrior just like his father, but his friend Yeo Woon grows up to fufill his "killer destiny." As children, age 12+ they both begin swordsmanship and martial arts and learn incredibly well (only normal of their personalities and origins). In a nutshell, Dong Soo fulfills his father's dreams and becomes a warrior of the prince's Royal Guard, while Yeo Woon becomes a assassin for a group plotting to overthrow the Prince. I really like this series so far, I'm on about episode 5 and both Dong Soo & Yeo are grown up a bit since being born; under the tutelage of many mentors and teachers alongside many other future warriors; I can't wait for episode 8 haha. The fights in this series however are a bit cheesy and slow (as expected of a drama) but they can suffice imho. Though I generally don't watch drama's so I don't know how to thoroughly explain it. Though I won't lie, I wish my hair looked as good as Yeo Woon's character, long straight hair and girly facial features? I'm actually surprised few girls in the series have hit on him or "Love @ First Sight" with him. OOH, OMG. Each episode - the ending screen, will turn into a pretty b/a background to end the episode on a "Epic" note, i.e. faces of Dong Soo & Yeo Woon as rivals.
  16. This. Dear god, Are you serious about not knowing? You are deprived D: GO! GO FIND A WORKING VHS PLAYER! NAO! I own the first six episodes on VHS, and the rest of the original first season I have in the back of my mind. There was a whole episode dedicated to Meowth's past prior to his acceptance of Giovanni and inclusion with Jesse & James; there was also an episode where Jame's background is explored (If you haven't already known that James comes from a rich family, I forget about Jesse's background).
  17. So apparently Koby asked if I wanted to be part of the forum staff and I was like "Uhh, me no like responsibility" Dx

  18. Meh. Manual Labor for Part Time, as in heavy lifting implied? Not worth it at minimum wage; you risk injury much more than a normal job where some to very minimal manual labor is required. At my pizzaria, we offer very little workers compensation for injuries on the job; because we're all employed under "Part time", the only people who are Full Time Employees are the drivers or managers.
  19. Lmfao. I doubt it was intentional; otherwise the idea would have never left the board for cover art design and had been immediately trashed or reworked to be more audience presentable.
  20. Haha, you see that's the kind of adventure I'd want. I don't really enjoy fish cuisine much but the activity is a stellar mental stress reliever in my opinion.
  21. ^That's gotta be awkward as hell. I've never had anyone mack on me for being a male because I make my appearance outstandingly masculine; pretend gay/feminine is just pure fun because it doesn't work. Now when I pretend to be a female online, I can usually pass off as a normal tomboy-ish outspoken girl. Basically, I could mirror mute or mal (for lack of masculine-In Charge women) if I wanted to and so long as I never confessed to being a male, no one could ever figure it out. Men & Women tend to use different sets of vocabulary online imho, and that is what makes it pretty obvious male/female. However the only flaw to that is the users who tend to type like dis and has poor grmmr+spling. I'd like to say that girls online tend to be more forward with their vocabulary while guys tend to be simplified to a+b=c.
  22. Dress attire, I went in wearing blue jeans, white shirt underneath a button up. Fast food places don't require very much imho. Now if it's something like a secretary, that''s a whole different ball game.
  23. Is it really? Haha. I didn't notice, I'm still deeply infatuated with Hunk. If you want to, I don't mind; I'll use it regardless. x3
