Agreed Koby; in the end, a funeral is just for us to pay our respects to the dead. When a person dies, they are no different from another person who died before them or after them, and in my opinion it doesn't matter what reason they died for. They should all be treated with respect as we would like upon our own death beds. I find it pathetic that people would attack the things a person participated in rather than the person, it's just a shallow example of ignorance; ignorance disgusts me completely and protesting at a "funeral" in general, is completely wrong and immoral. I'm not seeking to offend anyone who is devoutly religious but there are morals in this world that people abide by; morals are just as important as religious beliefs. In the United States; Iirc, Our Constitution enables us to the Freedom of Speech (a.k.a. Protest) but if it deliberately and visibly infringes on the rights of others, it is immediately invalid. I can't remember my history lessons that well so someone might want to clear me up on this one. I am not sure how other countries manage this kind of situation though.

Rofl, my Resolution; Live the next nine months so I can get my license and start living "life" as we know it. Change my wardrobe, and play more video games and watch more anime of course. EDIT: Ooh, and I want to style my hair into some smexy Scene Hair. Awl Yeah, now we're talking. That'll be my biggest challenge imho.

U... Uhh... Are there any animes that even start with U? o_O Even anime that comes under the radar, I can't think of one.

What anime series needs more seasons to complete the story?
Kasoivc replied to nate's topic in My Two Cents
I kinda want a second season to Mushishi =[ Good anime... took me about four-six years to actually watch it because I put it off as something... weird when I was on my Fullmetal Alchemist obsession. I found I love the concept of alchemy more than the actual anime, although Maes Hughes takes the cake for favorite character of the anime. OH, and Claymore! My god, I would love a second season to Claymore. -
Your Favorite Video Game of all time and Why?
Kasoivc replied to AquaticSolstice's topic in Gaming Realm
I always played the TES games just for the open-world feeling but I don't think I ever really appreciated the game for its story. I remember I only played TESIV:O because I was achievement hoarding one summer. I spent an entire summer running through the base game from scratch lol. I would have to say my favorite game would be Natural Selection. (It's a Half Life 1 Mod); a mixture of Starcraft aspects and RTS-like teamplay. In a nutshell, it's Starcraft, minus protoss; but in FPS format. I loooovved playing as the Kharraa lol, just because I'd always play as an Onos; eating heavy armored marines. -
T... OH, Tenchi Muyo! ROFLCOPTER.

@Iki: You know, it is the land of opportunity ironically. Whether we choose to go out with our gun and beat somebody over the head for $11 is our decision and no one else's. I know all hell would break loose in a third world country where committing a crime immediately lands you a life sentence. Or committing a crime condemns you to some religiously unholy and frowned upon environment which you conveniently fear because you follow religious, devoutly. Anyways, to me; Being an American is having this unreal amount of freedom to do whatever we want to do. I mean, the US isn't completely perfect as Iki there brought up, but we have the ability to change that. We don't have to be the world's sanctuary for criminals. So long as we can do what we want, and whenever we want to, I have no objections to being an American. Now morals and other factors that influence what we do, that's a completely different topic for another rainy day.

I'm kind of curious as to why FFXIV supposedly flopped. EDIT: Nevermind, I just listened to the video and I'm shocked. Anyways, I always thought FFXIV was similiar to Guild Wars; minus a "pick a class and stick to it" system from what I understood. I mean the whole concept entices me alone; but that's just me. I'm not sure how many other gamers like me want our characters to be jack of all trades, but I definitely sure I don't want to make mule or slave characters. AND, FFXIV has its monthly subscription thing halted indefinitely?! This is -News- to me ROFL. Too bad my computer can't run it =/ Barely ran FFXI optimally... I'd honestly still play it myself though, maybe get a group of friends to try it out as well.

Ah, KH:BBS? How is that by the way? I've been wanting to play that even before its release but I've never gotten around to getting myself a copy of it. I heard it plays like the original GBA version of Chain of Memories when it comes to upgrading stats but it's simple like the first Kingdom Hearts for the Ps2. You know, I like... Stopped playing Halo once Black Ops came out o_o; Out of curiosity, did they add any new patches or anything like that? I know when I reached Lt. Colonel, I literally stopped playing and jumped on Modern Warfare 2 to brush up on my "skills" for BO lol. Currently I am playing Grand Fantasia (Not really as much as I intended) and Black Ops; And Monday Night Combat + Sonic Adventure (Living some old dreamcast games, now if they got Skies of Arcadia or Shenmue to XBLA... *Drools*) lol.

Ditto on that; but I honestly didn't get into Dragon's Age (because before that I barely finished Mass Effect). That's just me though. Demon's Soul isn't that hard in my opinion, but it is fairly challenging. I found myself wearing light armor and rolling and dodging attacks more suitable than walking around in a heavy suit of armor. I do know I killed, literally, everything I came across though.

Thanks! It's actually artwork from a game called WarTech: Senko no Ronde; a mix of a mecha fighter/SCHMUP game. Ah yeah, I love the FF series. The art designs and such are what really get to me; some of the stories the series had to offer were extremely nice as well. (Still think FFVI is good stuff though.) I'll be sure to give it a look!

The (old E3? I think) tech demo of the "rumored" but scrapped remake was interesting enough to me; however like Naruto10991 noted, the production costs and time required to do it are impractical compared to FF13 (Supposedly FF13 was only capable of being done because the story is linear as compared to a long FF7 with many side stories). FF13 to me was a flop because of the linear-ness. Sure, it was a good story, but they literally threw away the "Explore the World & Complete Side-quests" concept. An RPG just isn't a true RPG without the sidequests and such. FFXIII was no doubt extremely shiny eye candy for all of us, but it didn't seem like it lived up to what the past Final Fantasy games set up. It felt more like a test drive of what the next gen systems can really do.

The thing is that many Square Enix games tend to not make animes because of their success as a video game. I'm not a anti-KH person but I honestly don't think an anime would do well; it is better leaving it as a game than risk tanking a good series with a hasty cash cow idea. (I had brought this idea up, but for a game called "The World Ends With You" in the funimation forums once and this was the same explanation I received, and also learned about the awesomeness of Durarara!!).

Current Anime Series You're Watching and your thoughts on it?
Kasoivc replied to Koby's topic in Anime District
Kaze No Stigma here! Streaming on Netflix =P -
My first anime were probably back when Old Toonami was still up; I'm talking like, Tenchi Muyo era-esque. If I HAD to take a stab, it would definitely be Tenchi Muyo because I remember recording each episode on VHS whenever it aired everyday.

Initial D eh? I'm considering watching it myself as well since I love the live action film, like I've watched it quite a few times religiously; ignorant of the differences between the movie adaptation compared to the anime & mangas. The last anime series I had finished... Would be Basilisk (Pretty interesting anime considering the general plot.) And before that would be Mushi-shi, which I can't stop bawling over the fact that there is no season two and it took me four-six years to actually get to watching it because I ignorantly put it off as some random uninteresting anime. The artwork is just amazing in my opinion.

My first game was actually Final Fantasy Mystic Quest I believe... and then I went on to play Pokemon Blue, LOL. I actually have no idea how I beat FFMQ though because I was, what - five years old? Man, the SNES days were awesome!

I honestly haven't kept up with new releases for PS3. I think it's been about two years now? But I would say the best RPG (That I have played and personally enjoyed to the fullest extent) for PS3 would be Demon's Soul. It's insanely difficult if you're a regular game-rusher but should be enough of a challenge to make it worth your money. I think it's about (I'm assuming you're in the states) $20-30 used.

E'llo. The name is Kasoivc (Kah-soy-vic), or simply Kas; IRL my name is Tony. I think I'll be exploring the Kamestu Forums just to satisfy my boredom and to discuss anime, video games, and even other worldly thoughts. I was bored earlier today while sitting in school so I went around on google looking for a forum to make my homepage and frequent; I found myself here. I used to be a big Ragnarok Online and FFXI player as well as to regards concerning my online mmorpg experience. Other than that I slowly waste away playing shooter games on my X360 and PS3. Well, time to go lurk and explore the other parts of the forums! Hope to bump heads with people and make some friends.
