Nothing special with Tony =p But Thanh = Bright/Clear Blue, or Elegant. I'm not really sure what Bright/Clear Blue may stand for but I am clearly elegant. (I just like the way it sounds, moreakin to the word "Risque" because it just sounds unique. Elegant to me sounds sophisticated and upper class).
Not to toot my horn or anything by calling myself special, because I am special just like everyone else, hurrdurr. *Walks away from this thread in a Pac Man Suit shouting Waka-Waka-Waka*
Unique Note/Trivia: Whenever I become a Guild Leader in any game, I generally name the guild Elegant Nightmare/s. (With or without the "s" depending on circumstance).
Edit: People will also see me run around by the names of Lyung-Hie or Kasoivc de' Lecroixe; These are simply nothing more than roleplay nicknames, or gamer tags/handles for various MMOs/Games..

Life of Pi came out earlier this year and I haven't seen that one yet. I heard that was an interesting take on the novel.
Most of the novels we've read during high school were primarily from the list of literature that was revolutionary I believe. Gatsby, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Huckleberry Finn, Scarlet Letter (which I personally did not like at all.) Tale of Two Cities, etc. Out of all of those, I genuinely liked some of them. I guess only after a few years do you really appreciate things that you've done beforehand. =p Reading those when I was younger was no easy task.

I don't read manga, Ever, but I'm pretty up to date about Rin. Wish they would cut to the chase and stop placing more fillers during such an important part, haha.
Though as far as I'm concerned and understand, Kakashi drives a Chidori through Rin because he fears he'll die soon and it'll be his fault if he lets Rin become captured/tortured for intel.
EDIT
Hm, I probably could've seen that coming but that was interesting to read on the Wiki for her. (Chapter 629)
And boy. What happened? This thread was like a year old and then it was resurrected out of nowhere. Haha.

It is an awesome anime and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The characters were lacking slightly maybe but still loved every moment of the anime.
Haha. I enjoyed it myself but I wouldn't go out of the way to say it was amazing. Like Hawkester mentioned in a few of his post in the earlier pages. The anime is only the way it is because they adapted two whole arcs into a short and brief 20 some episodes. I forget if Hawkester mentioned it or not, or if I read it somewhere else but they were considering writing in the gaps in between the episodes to fill up to the final floor that they arrive in SAO's arc.
Eeeeeh. "Filler" you might ask? Yes, but there's your possible character development; if given any more than what little we have at it is now.

I don't think anything about to be honest. It's just an art form. The desire to have sexual relations with a child in reality is probably as unappealing to me as cutting my **** off.
Not to be blunt or anything.
The only problem with the latter half is the world doesn't quite agree on what is considered a "child." A lot of countries just generally shoot around "18" as the magical number for someone to be considered an "adult." Furthermore, there are issues that are even more wishy washy when it comes to legal age.
I generally have to ask someone their age or verify before I can even consider flirting/hitting on them.

Haha, split between three ways; it wasn't too expensive for us. That thing is about as expensive as my tv, xbox, and ps3 put together... and none of those came cheaply.
I personally don't consider myself to have a father (bad blood between him and my two brothers and myself). But we take care of our mother in the littlest possible ways we can, even though she doesn't quite think logically with her money when it comes to recreation. Haha. We're an unorthodox group, but hey - this is America, one massive melting pot, some of the stuff we do - doesn't need to make sense.

I haven't started Game of Thrones yet =p I've actually just kind of been laying around being lazy on that one. I've heard really good things for it.

I can say I like Lolicon I suppose. I mean I'm not quite against it but I guess like the others, there is a grey area. I'm more for like 14+ (since usually anywhere the consenting/legal age is 18 for being considered an adult).
There was a girl within my age group when I went to school and she was often quiet, shy, and combined with her short stature people considered her to be in the freshmen class year after year. To me she always kind of looked like a Loli.
They're quite attractive. And the key to the situation is that you can look, but not touch. And it's also important to keep things to yourself, haha. When you go about praising it like Jesus, then I think you're asking for trouble.

Doivid there pretty much said it all. I go UltraPRO all the time with my sleeves even though they're a bit plain. The latest sleeves that I bought are from Max Protection under the Neo Sleeves line or something but they have a few cute anime'y designs along with more simple designs. I think the yellow sleeves I have are called Gun Metal Rose and they have symmetrical flower designs embedded in silver on the yellow sleeve itself.
I like to avoid sleeves like that Seira. They're flashy and nice looking, but they generally peel and are harder (In my opinion at least) to shuffle. Playing MTG, I don't hard shuffle my cards at all, I just kind of lightly slide them in from the side and pile shuffle to evenly distribute my lands. I'm actually afraid to hard shuffle them because I'd rather not bend the cards at all even though real MTG cards generally bend back into shape naturally.
I just don't like them because they're generally a bit thicker (I use my boxes to store my cards but extra space is always nice because we all know, adding sleeves to a deck - while providing them insurance, makes the deck look twice as big).

Only 1-2am here in Ohio. Already started off the day by going to Kroger's and buying myself $10 worth of desserts.
Copied from my facebook:
Mint Choco Chip Ice Cream, Butter Pecan Ice Cream, 4lbs of Bananas, $5 worth of Strawberries, Yellow Cake Mix, Vanilla Icing, and Caramel Syrup. And I only spent $10. Haha! ;D -
I don't keep in touch with my extended family, more or less due to them living on the other side of the planet but I'm surprised o-o. My mother tries to keep in contact with her parents and siblings, but for me outside of my direct immediate family I don't do much. I usually associate only myself with the people I live with haha, my mother, sister, and next oldest brother.
Edit: My siblings actually invested in a Ipad for our mother so she could use Facetime to see her relatives.

o-o I really need to start watching New Girl again. I have a huge crush on Zooey Deschanel.

Whatsername - Green Day. Kind of self explanatory. Was just thinking about a old ex of mine recently these past few days, but hey. That's what they are, gotta keep moving forward.

O.O You of all people haven't read the book? xD Aren't you a bookworm IRL? I'm most likely biased but Gatsby was really the only movie for me this year. I can't remember the last time I went to the movies before The Dark Knight Rising.
-
=o I'm surprised only two people from the most recent posts wanted to see The Great Gatsby. I was highly satisfied with how it turned out. It was really the only movie I was interested in since I caught wind of its development last summer. In terms of illustrating the book, it stuck pretty close to the original 74' movie & book, plus or minus a few details here and there. (Jordan was supposed to be a brunette but has black hair instead) and the difference in who attended the funeral, etc.

I did! I for two years, I think. Having my wisdom teeth removed after getting my braces off is actually the thing that lead to me not wearing my retainers. They hurt right after surgery, so I couldn't wear them, then I just got lazy and stopped.POE WORE BRACES AT ONE POINT!? O.O You know, Poe is probably the only person I haven't seen a picture of yet out of Kametsu Regulars D:
I haven't needed braces and I'm 19 onto 20 =p Though they will cut my wisdom teeth out. But by the sounds of it, you could probably do what you want to do with your retainers and just wear them as necessary. Worst case scenario is you can call up your dentist and ask what kind of advice they would suggest =p I'm sure they would understand your situation and give you proper advice on what to do if you absolutely must take them off here and there.
I'm not big on posting my picture. I have horrible self-esteem, haha. My teeth is one thing I'm really self-concious about too. They're not exactly straight anymore and they've got funny spots on them because of how the enamel formed. Not to mention I haven't been to the dentist in a least a year, but I can't afford to go because I don't have any insurance.
Silly poe, i have seen photos of you on facebook! you're adorable!!!!
I waaaan seee!!!! She couldn't possibly look any funnier than Eve :3 And Eve explodes when I make fun of her haha.
-
LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES. Don't ever just stop wearing them. I did that, and my teeth have moved quite a bit. Other people don't notice really, but I'm kind of self-conscious about it. I don't remember the time frame for mine, but I had to wear them all the time for a while, then only at night. Though mine were the clear, plastic-looking ones.

Bowie isn't that far off from where we are, we're just south of Baltimore and near DC, haha.
I'm surprised you got a ticket, Maryland drivers are notoriously awful.
Oh no. I didn't get a ticket in Maryland lol, I got a ticket when I got back to Ohio. I was speeding for seven hours in a SUV, LOL. I mean I passed through cameras without speeding and when we were on the road straight shotting back home I was going nearly 100 in that thing... Not proud of it but hey, I made it home without dying, and I transported two others to and from as well
I love that carpool lane you guys have! -
You went to Maryland and didn't visit me, you son of a gun?? I'm so hurt you didn't visit a random Internet stranger who may well have been on the complete opposite side of the state from where you were.
Haha. I wasn't aware that you were in Maryland, otherwise I probably could've. I'm coming over in another month or two perhaps to visit my friend again - most likely a week if I can amass the money first instead of a weekend. It was good, great visiting an old friend out there in the middle of nowhere imho. He lives in Bowie, and I drove 9 hours to see his ass, and another 9 hours and a $215 speeding ticket to get back home.

Haha. Its not the perpetual loneliness that gets to me, but the fact that when I realize it - I just suddenly hit a wall and fall flat on my face. I don't really know how to go about it but I just do my own thing.
I'm also sad I don't come here very often anymore. I used to be here almost everyday when we still had a chatbox on the main page; then when we moved to IRC, I just kind of never followed after. I was never really one to download anime by the time I came across Kametsu, so I didn't need to really follow over to IRC. I came here mostly just to talk to people and bask in the friendly-ness that Kametsu offered. Sort of a place where I felt I belonged. Now I'm kinda just missing a place where I feel necessary, or belong.

I'm not really for or against it, but I'd rather get it legalized for the sake of prevention of the insanity that its already brought about.
Like Mal noted, if it were made available only through licensed distributors, safety issues concerning whether or not it is pure or tainted would be moot, and it would also still be taxable like tobacco to generate revenues for the government.
The fact that states have begun to decriminalize it is setting a precedent in standards. Removing enforcement makes it essentially "legal" because the U.S. Government won't be able to chase after; otherwise you'll have a major states rights issue if the government intervenes to enforce the "illegal status" of marijuana.
I personally don't care much, to me I treat it as a regular drug; whether its over/under the counter, if you take enough or do enough of a drug, you're going to get addicted. Its always been like that, unless you have a highly unaddictive personality. Then you're good.

Wow this is an awfully large picture. Anywho, of course I'm the asian in the center. I went to Maryland to visit my buddy on the left there with the curly/mophead/cigarette. This is probably the first picture taken of me. In over a year.

I thought SAO was interesting, but the ending to the "season" was. Kind of odd. Makes the title of the anime... questionable? I guess that's the easiest way to put it.
And like Koby mentioned, episodes 2-7 were filler when you sit there and think about it, but my statement still holds true. SAO Just seems like an inappropriate title for the anime as a result of what happens in the future novels and during the second half of the season. Future seasons are inevitable in my honest opinion since it has gained such popularity for changing up the stereotypical school-type animes back to a MMO-style anime reminiscent of .//Hack but when they make those into anime, the title will still be bothering me. In the end, they do make a nod back towards SAO, but I feel they could've developed something better to use.
In terms of story/plot, I thought it was good. It was fresh and kind of exciting to follow, obvious cliches and whatnot but it wasn't awful. Having not read the novels, I feel they could've done more to flesh out the relationships between all of the characters that are really "main" characters.

Sword Art Online (whole franchise)
in Airing Anime
Posted
That's because the whole idea of 100+ floors in the SAO arc, made it feel almost like a "Monster of the Week" kind of anime. Lol, look at Pokemon =p Or the old Teen Titans (Not the newly animated one). You could watch SAO on a weekly basis and probably be fine in terms of keeping up with the story.
