Essentially, unless - like I previously argued - you have some kind of extremely rare gene within your genetics that the majority do not possess you won't really face very many negative side effects.

The new art is kind of interesting. If you've also been paying attention to the display art, I assume you've also took notice of them combining anime series together. Initial D (Spanning four seasons, a movie recap, and a live action) Now is all in one seletion with 41+ episodes. Darker Than Black, The Original Artwork from the Dvd Case + all Episodes in one selection. Etc. I like it, I noticed the replacement and combination of the seasons rather than the artwork really. The artwork just makes it look like they did work. ------------------- I have both Netflix and Hulu, however I'm not sure what the Xbox Update the other couple of days did to the viewing of Netflix. I know for Hulu it made things even more complicated to look at, view, or find. I have to ask my brother to go login to Netflix again on my xbox.

I actually liked both Triple Triad and Tetra Master (I had a separate FFVIII Save File specifically and ONLY for TT and collecting one of every card, I know I turned quite a few enemies into cards). Tetra Master was great too but I never completed my card collection because the field was a smidge bigger than in Triple Triad. Actually, I wanted to play FFXI's Tetra Master but I never got around to it =/

7/10? Looks a bit plain but it is something new and fresh in my opinion. Not something that I've seen before.

Lmfao. 8/10, I had a good laugh just because it looked cute.

Ten years ago, P2P MMO's were the shit, not going to lie. The only game I can think of that people really played a wohle lot without P2P might've been like, Diablo 1&2/Starcraft/Warcraft. And people still play them to this day, asides from the crazy super mods that have been floating around the net. "Free2Play" MMO's didn't quite exist then, except for maybe the occasional text-based/brower-based MMORPG, but nobody was really interested in those games. Nowadays (2010+), games are taking the approach towards cash shops and other ways of leeching money from it's players. If people really want it, they'll have money to back their wants and it's a strategic idea because either way, they win. The developer still gets money for their game as a result of hardcore fans and rich nobodies, as well as increasing it's popularity by being "free." P2P MMO's were most likely worth it back in the early 2000's, but it is 2011 now; They're not really worth it anymore. That's why companies went to the drawing board and introduced cash shops.

You are right but that's the main purpose of Dead Space. Complete shock and horror, because that's the only way the player can really become immersed. I've played RE4 numerous times and on different consoles, at that point I've become near immune to Las Plagas/parasites popping up out of nowhere. I will agree that RE5 was kind of a flop but it was a new thing that they were exploring considering the fact that it was the first game to really introduce "Co-operative" play. However it seems that the "Co-op" really de-tracted from the gameplay, not to mention the store system was complete crap imho. After RE4, I memorized the location of The Rat Merchant, RE5 - I just have to make sure I make it to the end of the chapter, or save/quit and restart from my checkpoint to access the store. I suppose you are also right about the setting of the game, and the racism aspect was quickly dispelled a long time ago upon it's initial trailers and whatnot. I just think RE5 was a flop as a result of parody zombie games and the developers' interest in testing the waters for totally new aspects that current gaming has adopted; i.e. multiplayer. (You can buy RE:CV and RE4 separately on Xbox Live as far as I know, they're both valued at $20 a piece I believe. Digital Copy Online).

Ditto to that, I have some stuffed plushies in bags and other knick knacks resting in some cardboard boxes that I have stowed away around the house. I remember when I got my first airsoft/bb gun or whatever. Literally almost shot my eye out due to ricochet. Hahaha, good times - good times.

Never hurts to buy a remake in my honest opinion, or a virtual port. As a video game collector I take great pride in noting that the condition of my video games are in excellent condition with minor/zero scratches, complete artwork with manuals and such/no tears/wrinkles, original cases, etc. Thanks for the Heads Up Koby, Are there more games included in this "Winter of RPGs" are are we simply just looking at what you've noted? There are a few games that I haven't purchased original copies of yet that I've not gotten to try when I was younger and most certainly some of these games spark my childhood youth.

I've not really played MGS4 even though I own a PS3 just because I've never got around to it. Though I've read enough about it that I understand the full story of MGS. MGS5 would most likely be a prequel or in-between game between considering the events of MGS4 are kind of... "The End" of the storyboard for Snake's "Story." No I'm not confirming his death by that statement, I'm trying to explain that the story has nowhere to really go for Snake after MGS4's events. Though if MGS5 really is to happen, I would most likely bet on it being another chapter of Big Boss's life as a result of the La Li Lu Le Lo.

If It's a subscription service like Xbox, Hulu, or Netflix. My reasons are justified simply because of it being price-worthy. Now all of us have a different opinion of what is price worthy considering the fact that we all have different values/opinions and financial situations. I pay $30 a year for Xbox live whenever the Fall Season comes around because of Black Friday and Christmas Deals. Money saved. $30 to play online, shrugs. It's only $30, I'm not being held at gunpoint to hand over $200 just to play my video games or talk to my friends while I play them. My family pays for cable and I've excluded myself from the bill by telling them that I don't watch television enough to justify paying for it. If one can't afford $30 for a yearlong service, something has got to be done about their financial situation. Internet Bills alone for one month are easily over $30, I can live on maybe a minimum of $20 a week of food. And alas, many of us have cellular devices, easily $50 right there on the spot per month for the wireless service. Bam, so don't give me the "I don't have the money for it" Bs . It's just poor budget management imho when someone complains they can't afford a yearly subscription fee to xbox live when they pay for all these other outrageous bills. @Koby's Point, Easiest way to get around paying $60 for a brand new game is to just wait a week or shop around. Mildly used copies crop up everywhere for 10-15$ on games, and if not discounted that much, places like Gamestop offer store discounts of their own on used games/accessories under various programs. The only thing I wouldn't wait around to buy used would simply be EA published games considering the stupid "Online Play Pass" Codes that they've been including in all of their multiplayer-enabled video games because of their greedy mofo' ways of wanting money. Amazon and Toy's R Us are places my brother and I shop around on, we quite often get $10-20 Gift Cards for our next video game purchases, Gift Cards being valid for over a year I believe. Hulu & Netflix, self explanatory considering the ridiculous pricing of cable and satellite television these days. ---------------- ** Now if we're talking about MMORPG's that are P2P; they're are usually not worth my time considering the fact that private servers crop up pretty often. P2P I tend to stave away from, and even Donation/Shop Games I tend to even exempt from ever playing. I used to P2P for international-Ragnarok Online, then I quit. Now it's free, but it's a donation-heavy game; and that's assuming it's not infested with bots everywhere. I will say this though, P2P MMO's - you'll generally meet nice people and form very cool friendships when you get into Guilds/Clans/Alliances just because you meet some cool people, unlike meeting jerks or even unfaithful scammers on a private server. My effort is my effort and if I play an online game, I sure as hell would be pissed if I lost all my progress on a private server, and even more completely drowned in anguish if I were to lose my progress on P2P Server.

It's not just Resident Evil's portrayal of the story that's what's decreasing the "Fear" Factor of the games. It's the fact that you have all these shoddy zombie spoofs or imitations that poorly tackle the "Fear" aspect of a game. Zombies munching on a nearby victim; seen it a million times. "Dead" zombie lunges at your feet, been a victim of it too many times to even flinch. Zombie tags you by breaking down a seemingly obstructed door next to you, almost didn't wet my pants the second time'round. It's not that the developers are doing a poor job, it's just that video gaming industry has gone pretty far in the past decade. What made people like us crap ourselves and run scared no longer makes us flinch or bat an eyelash. We've become numb to the violence and shocking factor that games have to offer. Of course many of us are still affected by gruesome depictions of gore and whatnot but that's a completely different story than "scaring" us.

MGS5? I'm not quite sure how they could even create a plot-coherent game if they were to do that, besides making Raiden the new "mainstay" protagonist....

What is the most time you have ever invested in a single game?
Kasoivc replied to Sagara117's topic in My Two Cents
It's a tie between 164+ Hours on Oblivion and over 10 something days on Modern Warfare 2... It's really disturbing that I spent a few months, even years of my life now dedicating it to video games rofl. -
HD Collection is great, gives me an excuse not to bust out the old gen copies and risk scratching them on outdated consoles. I've not actually gotten to playing MGS4 and I'm not so sure if I want to play MGS: Rising when it comes out. I'm not particularly fond of MGS going towards a more "actiony" approach at drawing in players because I enjoy the challenge of tranqing and choke holding people at gun point.

Lol. Tis'lright. Not going to lie, I still haven't gotten to play the new one that came out on DS a couple of months ago.

Gears of War 3, MGS HD Collection, Forza 4, Dark Souls, Modern Warfare 3, Lost Planet 2; Haven't gotten around to opening Skyrim yet.
