  1. I'm currently playing DC Universe online. It's so much fun to interact with your favorite superheroes. By the way anyone who is planning on starting out pick The Joker as your mentor because Mark Hamill is amazing. Best Joker ever. DCUO is also free to play on both PC and PS3 so it has that going for it. It's at least worth a look.

  2. In DC Universe Online I like the way they use achievements (Feats they call them) to actually be relevant to the game instead of just bragging rights. For every 100 feat points you acquire ( you get 10, 25, or 50 depending on the feat) you get 1 skill point to spend on your character to help improve their stats. Some kind of in game reward for actually playing the game is a sensible use of achievements. I think Splinter Cell Conviction had some kind of feature like this if i remember correctly.

  3. Perfect Blue, Millenium Actress, and Paprika all by Satoshi Kon are interesting films to watch. Especially Perfect Blue which is a screw with your mind kind of film. I have to recommend the Studio Ghibli animated Grave of the Fireflies. It may just be one of the best films about the human cost of war animated or otherwise. Its also quite depressing so keep that in mind if you decide to watch it.

  4. Super Mario Bros + Duck Hunt on my cousin's NES, hell to the yes.

Edit: Oh wait, first one we owned?

I'm embarrassed to say this, but SSX for the PS2. My parents refused to ever buy a video game system for me when I was a kid because they were afraid my brain would rot, so my first system I ever owned was a PS2 I saved up for.

That was the very first game I had as a kid Super Mario Bros. & Duck Hunt. I still bust it out once in a while for some nostalgia. You can't go wrong with a classic.

  5. It would be helpful if you posted what type of anime you have seen, or what genres you like such as action, adventure, etc. I will throw a couple out that I have seen recently. I'm currently watching Monster it is excellent. It is a crime, mystery type of show. I also finished watching Desert Punk which is an action, comedy, post apocalypse type of anime. Hope these help.

  6. I have seen berserk a couple times through and I have wondered myself if there is any other anime similar in style. It's hard to find one because Berserk is it's own unique beast but I think that the anime Claymore may be what you are looking for. That's about as close of a title that I could think of.
