What Game Mode Did You Play, Be Honest?
the man773 replied to unerasable sin's topic in Gaming Realm
Expert isn't hard in the long run but in the early stages of the game such as the boss battle with Twilight Thorn I always have trouble with that battle on expert (might be because I'm used to using spells almost constantly in the mid to late game fights). -
I would feel horrible if i got in the way and prevented my friends from using their full power and defeating the opponent w/o a problem. I would really want to go but I would stay in the safehouse or wherever I am and do something to keep me busy.
-
I would have to say Ushio, just so innocent and cute running around and hiding from her father and peeking around the corner.
-
Ichigo vs. Byakuya and the final Ichigo vs. Grimmjow was pretty cool but I think Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra takes the cake for this one. Edit: Just wanted to stick in my favorite non-Ichigo fight too, probably Ukitake and Shunsui vs. Coyote Starkk. Shunsui's powers are probably the most unique and cool imo (not exactly powerful and they have drawbacks)
-
I would say my personal favorite would be Cell (I liked his first form much better than his other two, more alien and ominous)

*claps* really like the descriptions in the first couple parts, having a rat eat it's way outta you would be pretty damn painful I would imagine. Most torture devices used to exclusively cause pain aren't exactly my cup of tea, though there is one called the Brazen Bull which I like because of it's greek origins and the story of how it was made (BTW the chinese iron maiden really reminded me of the Brazen Bull, nice touch). Psychological stuff always appeals to me a bit more such as Chinese Water Torture. Very well written btw.

Kametsu Master Friends List (Gamertags, Steam, PSN ids, etc)
the man773 replied to † Koga's topic in Gaming Realm
XBL gamertag: The Man773 -
They pronounced it Aerith in the KH series and that's just how I spell and pronounce it now.

I'm split between Dark Knight, Watchmen, and Batman: Under the Red Hood. Probably Dark Knight because of Heath Ledger's stellar Joker performance.
-
For many I don't really care, whatever version that hits the voices right is probably the version i would watch. Artistic anime I tend to watch dub first so that i can actually look at the image and not the subtitles all the time.

What game(s) have you beaten multiple times?
the man773 replied to TheTifaFactor's topic in My Two Cents
Let's see... Mass Effect 2, Kingdom Hearts 1&2&COM, Halo 3, every Gears of War title, Midnight Club 3, Kirby 64 and the Crystal Shards, Jak and Daxter series (1-3), Shadow of the Colossus, and KOTOR 2. Mainly the ones I had the most fun with I played the most. -
Probably GOW (yes i intentionally used the acronym to include both franchises with the ironically similar acronym). Both are bloody and enjoy swimming in gory goodness afterwards. I could count F.E.A.R. but I barely remember it so I don't know if it's more gory than the two franchises mentioned above.

Yes he didn't really accomplish much but he was a badass while he was failing you gotta admit.

996,413 unless of course if you refill it.

Numbers probably came first, organization was crucial if you wanted to keep track of your meager supplies before (or right at) the dawn of the first civilizations where socialization began to become a very useful tool.

996,418 according to Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump socks win wars.

What is the most time you have ever invested in a single game?
the man773 replied to Sagara117's topic in My Two Cents
Hmm... *adds up different save files in head* I would say about 450 hours in Kingdom Hearts (3 100% complete proud mode files) and about 300 on KH2 with one 100% completion save file. For multiplayer: Halo 3 with about 150 hours logged. -
Kirby 64 the Crystal Shards and Okami (not sure that's considered old tho).

The expression or destiny for #11: Your Expression number is 11. The number 11 is the first of the master numbers. It is associated with idealistic concepts and rather spiritual issues. Accordingly, it is a number with potentials that are somewhat more difficult to live up to. You have the capacity to be inspirational, and the ability to lead merely by your own example. An inborn inner strength and awareness can make you an excellent teacher, social worker, philosopher, or advisor. No matter what area of work you pursue, you are very aware and sensitive to the highest sense of your environment. Your intuition is very strong; in fact, many psychic people and those involved in occult studies have the number 11 expression. You possess a good mind with keen analytical ability. Because of this you can probably succeed in most lines of work, however, you will do better and be happier outside of the business world. Oddly enough, even here you generally succeed, owing to your often original and unusual approach. Nonetheless, you are more content working with your ideals, rather than dollars and cents. The positive aspect of the number 11 expression is an always idealistic attitude. Your thinking is long term, and you are able to grasp the far-reaching effects of actions and plans. You are disappointed by the shortsighted views of many of your contemporaries. You are deeply concerned and supportive of art, music, or of beauty in any form. The negative attitudes associated with the number 11 expression include a continuous sense of nervous tension; you may be too sensitive and temperamental. The idea of travel and freedom to roam intrigues you. You are very much the adventurer at heart. Not particularly concerned about your future or about getting ahead, you can seem superficial and unmotivated. In a positive sense, the energies of the number 5 make you very adaptable and versatile. You have a natural resourcefulness and enthusiasm that may mark you as a progressive with a good mind and active imagination. You seem to have a natural inclination to be a pace-setter. You are attracted to the unusual and the fast paced. You may be overly restless and impatient at times. You may dislike the routine work that you are engaged in, and tend to jump from activity to activity, without ever finishing anything. You may have difficulty with responsibility. You don't want to be tied down to a relationship, and it may be hard to commit to one person. Your Inner Dream number is: 6 An Inner Dream number of 6 means: You dream of guiding and fostering the perfect family in the perfect home. You crave the devotion from offspring and a loving spouse. You picture yourself in the center of a successful domestic unit. Most of this is eerily close to what I feel and am.

When you've finished a good anime series how do you feel?
the man773 replied to TheLostFool's topic in My Two Cents
It all depends on the anime, generally happy, sometimes confused (Wolf's Rain)and sad (Code Geass). -
I like both but I've played Elder Scrolls nearly twice as much considering I only borrowed Fallout 3 for a month or so.

[Discussion] Yu-Gi-Oh! - Obelisk, Ra or Slifer?
the man773 replied to Nero D. Ace's topic in Gaming Realm
Crap, misread the question. My fav is Slifer, Obelisk is too easy to use I would assume. If you had a great recovery deck could really use winged dragon well tho.
