My personal favorite is the Monster dub, but thinking critically, I would have to say FMAB or Code Geass, the voices matched perfectly with the characters and there weren't a lot of moments where it was obvious they didn't take the time to sync the voices to the lips of the characters. While I wholeheartedly agree with you that JYB was a fantastic cast for the part, you know that actually went out and said he doesn't care about the parts he plays, just as long as he gets his paycheck? Not a lot of dedication imo, love the voice, hate the guy.

Mainly the 13-75ish episode long sci-fi, supernatural, action, or mecha shows (think Death Note, Black Cat, Future Diary, Code Geass, and Gundam Wing) with the occasional Clannad or Monster or some other romance or comedy series. Sorta got burned out on the long (100+ episode) shounen series a while ago, Watched Bleach to the final conclusion of the Aizen arc (including fillers) and saw Dragon Ball Z to the end, noticed a pattern in this type of show and quit because I ended up calling plot points in shows similar to them all the time.

I would happen to agree, especially with the Bleach fillers where all the characters do is bumble about until the villains give up and present themselves to Ichigo and friends to fight them... it's sorta what turned me off from the series along with the fact that the last part of the entire Aizen arc dragged on for what seemed like an eternity. Don't forget constant comments on the other fighter's power level. Other than those three things the series was fun to watch, probably won't go back to watch it any time soon tho.

that's the second bit you were thinking of just to clear things up. Edit: sorry for the double post, forgot to edit my first post

It's a tie between King Bradley (FMAB), Roy Mustang, and Ling Yao/Greed. But my vote would have to go with Bradley for his sheer battle prowess and relentlessness.

yeah, didn't notice this while signing up a while ago and it told me to contact the administrator. if you can point me in the right direction or fix it yourself it would be very much appreciated.

I prefer to watch movies in the theater alone the first time just to formulate my own opinion of it without any outside input. It's fun to go to movies with friends sometimes when it's maybe a movie I wouldn't normally go to but overall, if it's a massive critical success, I prefer to watch it myself (though at times i've been convinced otherwise).

first anime that I watched was Pokemon but the first one that I watched that i knew was anime that actually got me sucked in is a tie between bleach and Code Geass considering I watched episodes from each show back to back.

Hmm.. first that comes to mind would be Hunchback of Notre Dame, mainly because of the amazing scene where Lord Frollo sings Hellfire.

Let's see, I've played Chain of Memories for both the PS2 and the GBA, (this game focuses on cards and setting up decks consisting of cards using the keyblade and spells along with friendly assists) if you can find the PS2 version get it. 358/2 days was pretty good but the story sorta got me confused at some points but as far as using the graphical capabilities of the DS it was probably one of the most impressive on the platform (this one plays very much like the console games with the exception on how you equip potions and abilities, it's easy to use and get used to once you understand it). I have not played Birth By Sleep yet but I hear it's the best of the portable titles and apparently has qualities that actually make it better than the console titles. It's sad that you would need to buy a maximum of three portable devices just to play them tho. (for me I do not possess a PSP but I'm going to borrow one pretty soon)

Head I watched the first episode of Elfen Lied a couple days ago where that klutz got her head chopped off by stumbling upon that one horned chick.

Let's see, my favorite actors are probably Brad Pitt, Martin Sheen, Morgan Freeman, Heath Ledger, Liam Neeson, Bruce Willis, Natilie Portman, Meryl Streep, Gloria Swanson (for her amazing performance in Sunset Boulevard), geez I have a lot of favorite actors and actresses. (there are more but those are the ones that I love watching the most)

Metal and techno (daft punk and dubstep mainly, not sure if techno or separate genre...). I listen to Metal bands such as Disturbed, Rabbit Junk, Slipknot, SOAD, and Avenged Sevenfold. Edit: I also enjoy a lot of J-rock with my personal favorites being Maximum the Hormone (for their excellent work in season 2 of Death Note with "What's Up People?" and "Zetsubo Billy") and FLOW for their awesome work in Code Geass with "Colors" and "World End".

Current Anime Series You're Watching and your thoughts on it?
the man773 replied to Koby's topic in Anime District
Future Diary and Elfen Lied. Future Diary is great, the psychological horror is placed in just the right moments to get an edge over other anime in it's genre. Elfen Lied seems like just a gore fest to me, a few people I talked to say it has a great story but I'm not seeing one, I'm on episode 5 so I can't really say anything solid about the series as a whole. -
Dragon Age was fun but I haven't played enough of the first one to form an opinion of it, Dragon Age 2 was pretty bad but I'm not going to judge the franchise on only one title. Never played the first Fable and I hear great things about it, the third one was fun until I went back to start a new character, the repetition was too much for me. Elder Scrolls is three times as open as the other titles and encourages you to make your own fun and follow your own path. I've had hours and hours of fun playing Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. My vote goes to Elder Scrolls.

Eh, he fits almost perfectly into a series that is pretty much a fighting game where EVERY character uses weapons but the thing that caught my attention was the level of detail you'll be able to go into in the custom character creator.
-
Not sure he's a "hero" per say but I would just like to be Deadpool, expert weapons skills and minor regenerative abilities. Nothing extremely special but i would have a lot of fun doing whatever the hell I wanted.

Clannad After Story... that is all... If not that then definitely Code Geass R2.

Elfen Lied is pretty disturbing but the excess in blood, gore, and breasts is sorta dragging it down to where it makes me think "really? did they need that?". I started watching Future Diary (brand new show, they're at episode 10 right now on the Funimation site) is more psychologically disturbing and I enjoy that, here is a scene from the show that really hooked me:

I saw there were no threads in the recent pages so I decided to ask. What was your most used spell in your playthroughs? My personal favorite was reflect, blocking almost all damage then dealing damage to surrounding enemies is always nice when there's a big clump of them.

Umm.. how about the Secret Bosses from KH1? Here's my top five for bosses I had the most trouble with: 1. Phantom (the only reason I persisted was because the last dalmatians treasure was at that location) 2. Kurt Zisa (I beat him out of pure luck) 3. Sephiroth KH1 version (glide in KH2 makes the battle ten times easier than this one) 4. Xaldin (Many of his attacks were counters to my usual strategy) 5. Final Riku battle in KH1 (jumping helps immensly, most of his attacks mainly focus on ground only.)
