  1. +1 basilisk was sick

I actually found Basilisk a little boring and hard to follow. I stopped watching half way although I don't hate it. I just got lazy.

Air after 5 episodes and nothing happened and it not making any sense I said screw this!

AIR was so good. :o The end was heartbreaking.

  2. I agree. Me believing the series was heading towards it's climax I ended up just being a bit disappointed. Earlier acts of the series were a lot more entertaining in every way possible. I think they wanted the last part of the series epic and they tried doing one of those "It's not over YET..." and once again we believe we are heading towards an ending of that event but NO... "It's not over YET..." happens again and I'm not talking about it in a shounen way but in a seinen way actually, cause I clearly see they wanted that seinen feeling about building up the heat, if you catch my drift but it didn't really end up as it could be (Monster as an example of that feeling of things not reaching an end just yet) so instead we ended up with something being a bit too long.

Yes I totally understand what you mean. It was like building up to a climax but never really reaching the peak. Having not read the manga at the time, I was expecting a crazy climax and epic ending to the series after all the hype it received and ended up a little disappointed too.

  3. Seriously there are hundreds of series better then Death Note, i do not see why half you people love it. It has no interesting characters and the story its self is so-so. Back on topic id have to say Wolfs Rain, i watched it and loved it.

I totally agree. Death Note is boring and way overrated.

For me, the best anime I have seen would be Black Lagoon. Never have I watched anything so many times in a row in my life and to think I was initially reluctant to even start watching. It really is in a class of it's own. XD

  4. that's not strange in anime at all. and it wasn't "dragged". they took the time required to tie up all the loose ends, something which is very rare in anime.

I agree. Tying up loose ends is rare but they could've done it in a more concise fashion. FMAB is certainly one of the best anime I have seen but it did get a little boring in amongst those final 15 episodes. The length just made it seem not as epic as it should've been.

  5. The only thing I really liked about this anime was the art and the mecha. It took me a really long time and an enormous amount of concentration to finish Code Geass. It mean it was quite entertaining but story wise, I got lost after a few episodes. Everything just suddenly became so convoluted and messy that I just couldn't understand what was going on. Entertainment wise I found it quite enjoyable but it still doesn't change the fact that I think it's extremely overrated. (Not as overrated as Clannad though. Never.)

  6. While 4Kids' current situation is causing explosions of joy over the net, is anybody else disappointed that the YGO Bonds Beyond Time movie will probably never be released on DVD? (I'm one of those poor unfortunate souls that haven't seen the movie at all ;A; )

Hopefully, VIZ picks it up or something (:

I haven't seen the Bonds Beyond Time movie at all either! I was really looking forward to seeing the dubbed version too. :hguit5:

It's quite sad how much I actually like Yu-Gi-Oh! .... lol
