Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai episode 2. Is there supposed to be a story in there somewhere?
-
Steins Gate episode 1...Wtf just happened? seriously, I have no idea what anybody is talking about here.
I had no idea what was going on in that episode too. Episode 2 makes a little more sense.. haha.
Last episode I watched was Madlax episode 13. Really liking this show so far.

+1 basilisk was sick
I actually found Basilisk a little boring and hard to follow. I stopped watching half way although I don't hate it. I just got lazy.
Air after 5 episodes and nothing happened and it not making any sense I said screw this!
AIR was so good.
The end was heartbreaking. -
Clannad. I hate it with a passion. I wish for someone to enlighten me as to what's so good about it. Really.
-
Last thing I watched was Dragon Ball Z episodes 24-36 in 4 hours non stop. School holidays are the best.

I agree. Me believing the series was heading towards it's climax I ended up just being a bit disappointed. Earlier acts of the series were a lot more entertaining in every way possible. I think they wanted the last part of the series epic and they tried doing one of those "It's not over YET..." and once again we believe we are heading towards an ending of that event but NO... "It's not over YET..." happens again and I'm not talking about it in a shounen way but in a seinen way actually, cause I clearly see they wanted that seinen feeling about building up the heat, if you catch my drift but it didn't really end up as it could be (Monster as an example of that feeling of things not reaching an end just yet) so instead we ended up with something being a bit too long.
Yes I totally understand what you mean. It was like building up to a climax but never really reaching the peak. Having not read the manga at the time, I was expecting a crazy climax and epic ending to the series after all the hype it received and ended up a little disappointed too.

Seriously there are hundreds of series better then Death Note, i do not see why half you people love it. It has no interesting characters and the story its self is so-so. Back on topic id have to say Wolfs Rain, i watched it and loved it.
I totally agree. Death Note is boring and way overrated.
For me, the best anime I have seen would be Black Lagoon. Never have I watched anything so many times in a row in my life and to think I was initially reluctant to even start watching. It really is in a class of it's own. XD

If 5D's continues airing at a rate of 1 episode per week with no breaks then it would take a little over a year for it to finish. Would the lawsuit really be postponed for that long?
-
that's not strange in anime at all. and it wasn't "dragged". they took the time required to tie up all the loose ends, something which is very rare in anime.
I agree. Tying up loose ends is rare but they could've done it in a more concise fashion. FMAB is certainly one of the best anime I have seen but it did get a little boring in amongst those final 15 episodes. The length just made it seem not as epic as it should've been.
-
Probably because the second one had a better story than the first. =P
Brotherhood certainly did have a better story but didn't anyone have a problem with the fact that The Promised Day dragged on for an entire 15 episodes? LOL

Kanako Watanabe from Star Driver. Real leader right there. She's pretty damn badass.
-
UraBoku episode 8. Series is progressing a little too slowly for my liking.
-
Last anime I finished was Star Driver. I don't think I've seen a better ending. Definitely one of my favourites now.

The only thing I really liked about this anime was the art and the mecha. It took me a really long time and an enormous amount of concentration to finish Code Geass. It mean it was quite entertaining but story wise, I got lost after a few episodes. Everything just suddenly became so convoluted and messy that I just couldn't understand what was going on. Entertainment wise I found it quite enjoyable but it still doesn't change the fact that I think it's extremely overrated. (Not as overrated as Clannad though. Never.)

While 4Kids' current situation is causing explosions of joy over the net, is anybody else disappointed that the YGO Bonds Beyond Time movie will probably never be released on DVD? (I'm one of those poor unfortunate souls that haven't seen the movie at all ;A; )
Hopefully, VIZ picks it up or something (:
I haven't seen the Bonds Beyond Time movie at all either! I was really looking forward to seeing the dubbed version too.

It's quite sad how much I actually like Yu-Gi-Oh! .... lol
-
Wow.. 4Kids has issues. I don't mind the English dub either and I was actually planning on finishing the entire thing in English even though it will take over a year at this rate. With that said, if the dub never gets fully released, I'd just finish the rest of it subbed although it'd take a little getting used to.

Grave of the Fireflies. I also cried like a baby watching Voices of a Distant Star and Rumbling Hearts. Clannad was so boring I wanted to cry. I don't even know why I finished it and I still don't understand where the sad bit is.
-
I just finished Zero no Tsukaima. It was pretty good in the entertainment department but the story was a little shallow and predictable at times. 8/10
-
I really liked Princess Mononoke, Grave of the Fireflies and Whisper of the Heart although I haven't seen all of them yet.
-
Zero no Tsukaima episode 3. It's so funny. Louise is ruthless.
-
I'm having a Yu-Gi-Oh! marathon.

-
Highschool of the Dead episode 2. Waiting for new dubbed episodes really sucks. LOL
-
I've seen Fruits Basket more recently that Ouran High School Host Club (considering rewatching dub). They both don't really have anything fantastic in terms of characters but I totally agree with you. When considering cuteness, Momoji's got nothing on Hani.
-
Fortune Arterial episode 3. Despite reading all those terrible reviews, I actually like it but then again my thoughts on any given anime usually concur with the minority.

Steins;Gate episode 3. I think I spent more time criticising the subtitles than paying attention to what was going on.
