I loved AnoHana, Fate/Zero and Usagi Drop from this year. I also liked Star Driver, Denpa Onna and Ao no Exorcist. As for what I didn't like, there's quite a few but I was mostly disappointed with the Black Lagoon OVA because it wasn't as good as the rest of the series.

I'm just gonna go sit in a corner and cry now. Seriously. Just kidding. I am disappointed though. I actually enjoyed the watching the dub, mostly for nostalgic reasons.. I guess I'll be finishing it subbed then.

3210 according to MAL. All this in under a year but I feel like I've hardly seen anything yet.
-
For me, the ideal length is 11-26 episodes. I do find myself enjoying a lot of the longer series but I'll be hesitant to start watching any of them. Especially if they're ongoing series like One Piece... which I'll probably never watch.

Genre doesn't usually determine what I like. I'll watch anything and everything. I'm leaning towards slice-of-life a lot these days. I do really like drama/romance and action/adventure ones. Adventure ones are always fun to watch.

Finally got around to finishing Astarotte no Omocha today. It was a pretty pathetic and predictable series in the end.

I stopped learning japanese 2 years ago and have forgotten all but how to read hiragana and write a basic sentence. My vocab is terrible but I pick up a bit here and there while watching anime. I'll probably go back to learning it properly as soon as highschool is over in 4 months. ^^ Contrary to what Anras Rune said up there, I think it's a relatively easy language to pick up.

I finished AnoHana yesterday. It's the most the amazing thing I've seen in quite a while. Most definitely the gem of the season.
-
I prefer to watch them on the TV when nobody is using it because the older lower quality anime comes out better on the TV for some reason... even though the screen is way bigger than my monitor. If I'm marathon-ing, I'll probably just use my pc.

Not much catching my eye this season. I'd usually pick up more, but I'll only be watching Blood-C and Dantalian no Shoka this time around. I might watch more if I can handle my workload.. Usagi Drop and No. 6 sound interesting. One thing I know for sure is that I'm definitely not picking up 16 series again.

A lot of things make me teary but Kimi ga Nozomu Eien and Air really made me cry. Clannad After Story did too, even though I hated the first season. The ED was such a mood killer every time though.

Just finished Highschool of the Dead today. I actually really liked it although I wish it was longer. The fanservice didn't really affect what was going on too much so it didn't really bother me. The OVA was totally pointless but it was pretty funny anyway.
-
I was actually planning on never watching this but then I saw it dubbed and though.... why not? I actually like this show. I don't mind the fanservice. It might be a little over the top at times, but it doesn't really affect the story in any way. HotD still manages to keep me on the edge of my seat every episode.

Deadman Wonderland episode 4, and also Gantz Second Stage episode 6.
I disagree, I think that this episode was important to the story. I would imagine the next episode will have a lot more action in it as Ganta will be fighting that guy (can't remember his name off the top of my head). Also, now we know that there are more with the same powers other than the red man and Ganta.
I'm not really questioning the importance. I agree, what they revealed in this episode is essential to the story. However, Ganta's character makes everything so over-dramatic. Conceptually, it's interesting. Execution, not really my cup of tea but hey whatever floats your boat. As for the Red Man, I know who that is. XD
Last episode I watched: Ao no Exorcist episode 4. I liked this episode compared to the first 3 which were pretty meh.

Just watched Deadman Wonderland episode 4. I fell asleep. It's starting to become so boring now. There's so much dialogue. Uninteresting dialogue.
-
I just finished Moshidora. It wasn't epic or anything but it was refreshing, and a nice change of pace.
-
Clannad: After Story episode 22. Happy endings are terribly overrated.
-
I'm not all too fond of this sort of anime but I kind of enjoyed this, even though I spoiled the story after episode 1 because I couldn't be bothered waiting. It's still interesting. It's not my favourite of the season but it's definitely one of the better ones.

Awesome news. I love this show. If they do dub it, I hope they don't ruin it and I wonder if they'd say 'Glittering Crux" instead of 'kiraboshi' lol I imagine it'd sound a little odd.

When I'm bored (usually after I've watched something too heavy in content), I'll probably start watching a shounen anime that's relatively short. Something around 12-24 episodes. I must be bored all the time because I've seen a lot of generic shounen. If I don't feel like starting anything new, I'll usually watch Black Lagoon episode 7 or the Japan arc in Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage (the second half).

Hanasaku Iroha episodes 1-3. I think I'm in love........ with the art.
-
Nice. I was planning on watching this but I guess I'll just wait for a dub now.
-
I just finished Madlax. It was a nice change from all the bad anime as of late. Despite the slow beginning, it was an enjoyable watch and all the philosophical ideas about humanity were very thought provoking.

I started watching this even though people said it was really similar to Death Note (which I didn't like or finish) and I'm surprisingly enjoying it quite a bit. It reminds me of Eden of the East sometimes.
