  1. How come Netflix and Amazon originals are so awful outside of animation ones? Pointless dialogues, dozens of characters, dragging on for hours and hours on end.

The 44 minute format was simply to squeeze commercials in. Netflix doesn't need to. Makes sense not to follow dated antics.

And you say no offense but follow it up by completely calling me a different name.

Like Koby said, The 44" format is made for the express reason to show adverts during the remaining time, thus allowing for an Hour of TV with ads. Why on earth should Netflix follow that convention when they don't show ads?

As for the other point, whether you like something or not is subjective, I don't see why there should be any reason to be offended. You might hate a lot of shows I like, I don't really care, its not like i'm obligated to defend them or had any involvement in their creation :P

That actually wasn't intentional. Sorry, Koby. No idea why i did that

I do realize that it's due to advertisements, and yes, the first thought is that this format is outdated and arbitrary, but frankly, shows which do not follow it tend to just waste viewer's time, by adding lots of useless exposition and padding, that's rarely justified. So, as absurd as it sounds, 44" format is useful beyond its commercial origins.
