Clockwork replied to apr118's topic in Recommendations & Reviews
Now that is over doing dual swords, also I second it. It also involves dual spears as well. -
NEWS: Funimation Sues 1,337 BitTorrent Users Over One Piece
Clockwork replied to † cloud1414's topic in Anime District
Thanks, the first thing that came to mind when I heard that was Yumekui Merry. -
I just won't watch anime that has too much fanservice. There are plenty of sane animes out there to watch so you can't blame anime itself. I still ended up watching HOTD and worst of all, Seikon No Qwaser. Freezing falls into the same category as HOTD if you ask me. The you have that new Oniichan....... whatever but the difference is that the ecchiness is the plotline so it passes for me.

Who is Your Favorite FEMALE Character? And Why?[A Tribute]
Clockwork replied to ronaruto's topic in My Two Cents
Ryougi Shiki from Kara No Kyoukai. She's strong, honest, uses a knife, unique (how the hell does she fight in a leather jacket over a kimono?) Best of all, she's a murderer and yet still the good guy. To top that off, she can destroy anything that exists through tracing the 'death lines' on existences. -
I believe that if they want any chance of making a decent Kingdom Hearts anime, they should create a new main cast like they did with Birth By Sleep.

Misaka's railgun from To Aru Kagaku No Railgun. I feel that this attack has lots of personality to it and not to mention that it is actually believable. Really epic in the last episode, TWICE!

Is there a place I can read up on double posting and what to do to prevent it? I am not too familiar with internet language and therefore I am not too sure about what I did. I am sorry if I did anything wrong.

I can only prove that I exist to myself but I can't prove it to anyone else but even then you can't believe me because I can't prove that I exist to you.

The Queen or the whole monarchy system? I am personally for the monarchy due to its potential, however, I am also for a system everyone agrees on. I may be wrong but if we are all messed up then does that mean none of us are? For example, if we are all evil then we are all good as well. These black and white positions only exist to describe the 'other' faction. Who I would consider evil most likely considers themselves good.

(whoa long paragraph to quote) Anyway all of the above you have mentioned I definitely find sickening but lets just say that it is hard for me to improve the situation. I live in Australia and due to the country being on an island, it is easy for authorities to monitor for such situations. In fact, the most dangerous thing that happens in Australia are people trying to imitate V8 Supercars after the Clipsal on a crowded street. This has only happened once anyway with a minimal two deaths. I feel sorry for you nd forgive me for the vulgarity of it. If I ever had the chance to stop such things from happening i would take it as well. However, it won't only be for the sole noble reason of helping another. My main reaon is that I will find it fun to assist another and put the other in their place. Lets just say I get a nice, ecstatic feeling when I help others.

You are right about the quote being used in extemporaneous situation. I am not too sure about the validity of this but someone commented it to me on deviantART. He was showing me that it is possible you can prove something doesn't exist. There is an empty table with nothing on it. An old man says to another man that there is a box on it and describes what it looks like. He then points to where it is and tells the man to pick it up but it isn't there. Thus proving that a box doesn't exist there. I am just saying that we could always start first by proving what doesn't exist rather than what does.
-
However, vice versa you cannot prove their existance either.

Well this may be a bit irrelevent but there is a difference between someone mudering me and them trying then failing. Besides, I am the one at fault which I accept. Rules and organization are made to benefit the majority of a population and allow others to see what is expected of them. That I accept but I still feel that there is something really wrong with the whole system. It is because of these current rules that we have undesirable conflicts. The Vietnam war and the civil conflict in Korea are a good example. People killing others because they think it would be best for them to use their system. I don't find those rules very logical. That is why I do not accept being governed by these contradicting rules. Finally, getting hurt is a punishment I will gladly accept if my actions come down to it. I always weigh every single possibility and the most beneficial is the one I will take.

Well, the only say England could have in Australia was the final decision on disbanding a political party like what the Queen did to the Goth Whitlamgovernment. I don't mean to offend the Queen but I assume that the referendum may take place when the Queen passes away.
-
Politics, well, Australia at the least. Correct me if I am wrong but democracy is a system where the citizens vote for their leader. I prefer monarchy because royalty are people who were raised to rule while politicians to me just happen to be a group of idealists (aren't we all?). I believe people should be born to rule and therefore throughout their life, get acquainted to society so they can make more relevent decisions.

'Cogito Ergo Sum', there's my answer.
-
To me, I could care less what the universal right or wrong is. I only care about what feels good, and what hurts.
-
Well, not all protagonists are the strongest out of their cast of characters. I can name quite a few. ShuffLe! Clannad Angel Beats! Anyone seen Hayate No Gotoku. Now that is a perfect example of a riduculously strong character when compared to the setting and other characters.

Child pornography is wrong in my opinion simply because that is how this world views it. I will admit that if nobody thought it was wrong then I probably wouldn't either.
-
That actually makes sense though.

I heard 'Blue' by Eiffel 65 when I was young which was before I knew what lyrics were. At first I thought the lyrics went, 'I'm blue I believe I would die' because I thought the song was talking about depressment. Like how blue is how you describe someon who is down. My friend first thought the lyrics went, 'I'm blue that was me I'm a guy' and i do not know how he got that besides them sounding similar. When I grew older and my hearing became sharper, I found out that it was just, 'da ba dee da ba die' which I was somewhat shocked at. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar mix up when they first heard it?
-
To be honest I rather not turn blind or it would be increasingly difficult to resolve the situation in the appropiate manner. Not saying I look at that stuff. Anyway, yes child pornography is sickening and but that was a given. But what my thoughts are is how we can prevent it. We can talk about it but that isn't helping them is it? Sorry if I offend anyone and I know I am a hippocrit.

Who here is dead? Are you dead yet? Are you sure you are going to die? What if you do nothing for your whole life and found out you still haven't died? Do you know what death feels like? What if you are eternal and the people dying around you are fakes to make your world? Does anyone here knows death?
-
If Dead is the end how does that make you feel ?
Clockwork replied to Sgt.Walton.001's topic in Mako Reactor
Regardless, the living have yet to die and till one dies, they are alive and death can still be uncertain. I don't want to get into 'Cogito Ergo Sum' or anything though.
