Haven't been on this forum in what feels like at least 2-3 month despite the fact that I'm as active as can be on Kametsu's discord but I am returning just to say my dad is still an asshole. That's all. Don't feel like giving details don't feel like explaining how deeply hurt I am don't feel like getting into it. I'm just really fucking upset.

It's thanksgiving day and the only thing I have to be thankful for is a few super close online friends, weed waffles and a bottle of vodka. No family, no irl friends worth mentioning, no job, no source of income, no education, no future, no relationship, no car, no driver's license even, no home of my own I'm stuck under the roof of one of the shittiest people I've ever had the displeasure of having in my life and a $6000 debt. I don't even have a thanksgiving dinner tn. Then my asshole dad says I don't have a right to be upset. Fuck you dad you don't even have the right to be outside of a prison cell after everything you've done to me, but you are. He's not even thankful for that fact ungrateful piece of garbage.

Well not only that but I can't even be thankful for being healthy cuz my health is so fucked at this point. At least I'm alive and conscious, that's something to be thankful.

Honestly I don't hate Batfleck, and while I despise BvS, I absolutely hate Dark Knight Rises. I don't remember anything particularly good about Bale's Batman, even though I liked the first 2 Nolan movies a lot. Partly it's because of the fanbase that makes me not like DKR (& Batman in general at times; looking at you HISHE); Nolanites/unreasonable DC fans that say things like it's a masterpiece, it's better, more realistic and darker than that abominable kid friendly MCU, and even "Alfred Hitchcock is a has-been; Nolan is the new Hitchcock".

 

I've repeatedly said I'm not biased against DC. There are things that I personally don't like that they've done, and parts of the fanbase are just making things harder for everyone.

I think the DK trilogy is way better than MCU outside of the Iron Man trilogy and first Avenger movie or 2, but saying Nolan is Hitchcock is absurd. And yea Kevin Conroy is the real Batman. Also outside of DK and WW, every single DC movie is trash. I also wanna know why Superman isn't in the fucking Justice League? Cuz Batman doesn't like him? Shouldn't you have Batman leave the JLA then like he actually did in the comics? I mean fuck you could've even set up a Teen Titans movie in doing so.

Sometimes I think the only major historical inaccuracy in LA Noire is that not enough of the cops in game are corrupt.

I feel bad for the newbies, Ik I trashed those "good cops" who see corruption and do nothing but as a newbie I'd imagine it's very difficult to speak up. Especially turning that whole "manufactured brotherhood" I mentioned earlier against you, the same brotherhood you work with AND for. It's not just his partners it's his superiors. Hell my dad wouldn't even feed me if his boss told him not to, imagine the authority a PD boss has.
